Partridge Holme has two bedrooms gentle walks are within striking distance of the cottage, yet the wonderful Mountains are also within reach. The cottage has been restored and refurbished to a very high standard of comfort - with a balanced mix of modern and new contemporary furnishings - offering a cozy and relaxed decor - helped by a gas, ' real flame' fire.

Near to the cottage is the Windermere Royal Yacht Club, where sailing is taught.

There is a Local Rural Theatre, Local Cinema, Shops, excellent Restaurants, local Pubs and the nearby New England Hotel - with its New Spa facility, are all nearby. Fishing, Horse riding, Cycle Hire, Golf - are some of the range of Sporting activities, here in the Lake District. A local information pack is available at the cottage.

Windermere Lake only five minutes’ walk, offers rowing and organized cruisers.

A Luxury Hotel is nearby with Spa and Beauty Therapy facilities, for non residents. Local horse riding and sailing clubs are nearby.

The cottage's great location has several good local restaurants and friendly pubs, within walking distance.

A Local Theatre Group, Bowness Cinema and the Beatrix Potter exhibition are within ten minutes. walk.

Excellent local, or long fell walks, are within striking distance, catering for all levels of fitness.

Near to the cottage is the Windermere Royal Yacht Club, where sailing is taught.

Entry to the cottage is from 4.00pm. Please vacate by 10am. The cleaners arrive after this time.

There is a Car Parking permit provided with the cottage, for one car - for free car parking throughout South Lakeland Car Parks' - see additional list of Car Parks applicable, on the back of the pass.

Midweek nightly rates - cover staying Mon,, Tues., Weds. night - vacating the cottage on Thursday morning. MINIMUM stay is - 3 NIGHTS - where stated. Not at peak season.

Weekend nightly rates - cover Friday, Sat., Sun. night - vacating the cottage on Monday morning.

Short Breaks are generally available from November - March. Please ring, or email us, and ask for further details. We are happy to help.

To book - a deposit for this rental is £100.00, with the balance due 8 weeks pior to arrival date.

* There is also a SECURITY deposit, required by separate cheque of:- £150.00 - which is refunded 1 week after your departure, provided no damages are reported. Small breakages are not charged. This is payable, when making the fulll and final payment, 8 weeks prior to your arrival. * All SECURITY DEPOSIT Payments must be made by cheque.

There is a main car park approx. 2 minute walk from the cottage - very safe and secure - past the oldest pub in the Lake District at Bowness called: ' Hole i'nt Wall ' - Charles Dickens wrote and drank here. You may have to drop in at the Hole in't Wall to recover from the walk ! Near to the cottage is the Windermere Royal Yacht Club, where sailing is taught.
