Description

Diaz Beach has a dining table which seats 6 and a gas barbeque on the balcony. The apartment has satellite DSTV, Ipod docking station and a DVD player. There is 24 hour security, secure parking and direct access to the beach via a wooden walkway. You can also see whales, dolphins and seals from the balcony.

The Ocean II complex has a communal BBQ and pool area.

Within a short walk from the apartment, is the Diaz beach resort, that has a heated indoor pool, outside pool with slides, mini golf and a number of bars and restaurants.

Mossel Bay, Hartenbos and the Langeberg shopping mall is only 5 minutes away by car. There are numerous activities for all ages: Swimming, shark diving, whale and dolphin watching, fishing, hiking, cinemas, golf, horse riding.

The Garden Route casino is a short drive away. Botlierskop and the Garden Route Game Lodge are also nearby and offer day safaris.

Directions

Mosselbay is about a 4 hour drive from Cape Town, taking the N2 highway. Flight is also available from Cape Town to George Airport which is about a 30 minute drive away. The flight from George to Cape Town is approximately 40 minutes long.

Lovely views and sunsets!
I travelled with a group of friends to South Africa in October 2010 and stayed at Diaz Beach Apartment. The apartment was lovely with everything we needed. It is directly on Diaz Beach and we saw whales almost every day from the balcony. Supermarket and off-licence walking is walking distance so very good location.

Relaxing break
We needed a relaxing break - and we definately did have it. It felt as if we had the entire beach to ourselves. The location was excellent and the apartment was fantastic and suited all our needs. We definately would consider using it again.

Apartment with facilities / equipment is of a high standard. We are making plans for our next stay. Lovely location with sunsets and sunrises - balcony with braai and seaviews. A getaway from the busy lifestyles.

Highly recommended
We had a wonderful stay at Diaz Beach apartment. Stunning views and awesome sunsets. The kitchen is fully equipped and with lovely furniture. The beach is wonderful for long walks, directly in front of the apartment. There was fantastic surf at the point (approx. 5km thru town centre to the Point) for our teenage son who loves to bodyboard. The restaurants at the Point are ideally situated with close up view of the surf and are all child friendly. Highly recommended.
