Most people love a garden. In this apartment, you have access to a very cute garden where you can barbeque. You are also overlooking one of the most beautiful 50m gardens belonging to our neighbour. There are a number of bicycle stands in front of the house, which would allow you to lock up any bicyles hired during your stay. Cycling has become a great mode of transport in London especially with the introduction of the Boris Bicycles introduced by our Lord Mayor last year. You have access to several stations around the flat, the nearest one being on Abbey Road. You can go skiing in Scotland which is a 50min flight from London. Golf is also a great sport to enjoy in England, and you have access to many first class Golf Courses within 30mins of the apartment.
St. John's Wood is one of the most sought after addresses in central London, being minutes from the West End yet quiet and charming. It has a wonderful village atmosphere with an exquisite high street offering the finest grocery shop through Panzer's Delicatessen, and a great selection of good restaurants, cafes, bars, and fashion shops. Our apartment is only a few minutes’ walk from the tube station which is on the relatively new Jubilee Line. Hop on and you are 2 stops to Bond Street, and 4 stops to Piccadilly Circus. You also have 20 bicycles available for hire on Abbey Road Studio. The famous studios on the cover of the Beatles Album is just around the corner. Lords Cricket Ground is also a mere 7min walk away, as is Regents Park probably the finest park in London.
One of the most charming things about living in St. John's Wood is that is has a really lovely village atmosphere to it and yet you are so close to the City. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of suburban life whilst being within 10mins from the bustle of Oxford Street. The contrast is addictive.
