Description
Our house is furnished to the highest standard. Situated on the 5* Vila Sol resort with access to the hotel’s indoor and outdoor heated pools, 3 restaurants and bars, luxurious spa and a kids club (subject to age and availability). There is a driving range, practice course, golf academy and large club house including restaurant, bar and pro-golf shop. The house has a private terrace which leads onto shared gardens, swimming pool and children's pool and gives access to tennis courts. There is a supermarket, Irish bar/pub, bank and patisserie on site and an excellent supermarket in Almancil only a 10 minute drive away. The centre of Vilamoura is just 10 mins drive with its fabulous marina and wide variety of restaurants and shops. A water park is approximately 1 kilometre from the house, a great carting track in Almancil, horse riding at Quinta do Lago and quad biking is available 15 minutes away. Whether you love golf or not, this is a great place to holiday.
Beautiful shared gardens fully maintained, accessed by very large terrace off the living room. There is a table plus 8 chairs and 2 sun loungers plus a barbecue. An additional 4 sun loungers are available to take on to the gardens or pool area.
The nearest beaches at Quarteira and Vilamoura are 5 and 10 minutes drive respectively.
Vila Sol golf course is a 27 hole championship course which has twice held the Portuguese Open. Also in Vilamoura are the excellent Old Course, Millenium, Ocean, Pinhal and Victoria Courses. 15 minute drive away are also the Val do Lobo and Quinta do Lago courses.
Faro is the nearest Airport which is 25km (approx 20 minutes) drive away. Car hire is readily available from the Airport, or taxis are available.
There is a supermarket at the entrance to Vila Sol a 10 minute walk from the house or there are several very local supermarkets and shops, an more supermarkets and banks available in Almancil (10 minutes drive) or Vilamoura (10 minutes). Algarve shopping centre is about 20 min drive away, with a range of shops a hyper-market, 9 cinemas, ten pin bowling, and fast food outlets ie. McDonalds, KFC, and Pizza Hut.
