In our house at the heart of Vienna, within short walking distance to most of the sights, we offer affordable rooms with use of kitchen and lounge and 1or 2 rooms apartments. Probabaly the most affordable accomodation at the heart of Vienna, for single travellers and groups up to 70 persons, starting from 35 euro per room.
Each complete 1 or 2 room apartments has its own kitchen/kitchenette and a bathroom with shower or bathtub and WC.
The 1 room apartments have a double box springs, a double sofa bed and another single sofa bed. A large eating table with chairs, comodew with full HD LCD TV, garderobe and closet. Max. 5 persons.
Each of our modern double rooms has its own Wellness shower and sink in the room, a comfortable double boxsprings bed, couch, table, digital tv, hairdryer, free broadband wireless internet and phone connection. There are two WC´s next to the rooms as well as full equipped kitchen with eating table and seating corner.
The location is very central yet very quiet, just around the corner from Vienna´s most famous and popular market, the Naschmarkt, and within a short walking distance to the old city, the famous Ringstrasse, Hofburg palace, the big museums of art and nature. Vienna´s shopping mile, the Mariahilfer Str., is also within 10 minutes walking.
Around the corner there is the Underground train station U4 Kettenbrückengasse. Taking the underground train to the State Opera House takes 2 minutes or one stop. St. Stephan cathedral is 2 stops away (4 minutes).
The train goes in the other direction direct to Schönbrunn Palace (7 minutes).
Modern facilities, comfortable beds, central yet quiet location, which saves you alot of time and energy in getting to the interessting sights of Vienna, and all this for the fraction of the costs of any accommodations in our area, that is what we offer.
Public Transportation from the airport to the our house and the other way around is easy and fast and takes about 25 minutes all together. We can also arranga a taxi to wait at you at the airport for a reduced price of 25 Euro´s.
There is a parking house on walking distance from our house for 7 Euro´s per 24 hours.
From the airport you can take the CAT train (City Airport Train). The train leaves 5 minutes after whole and half an hour (thus for example 10:05, 10:35, 11:05 etc). The train arrives after 16 minutes in Vienna´s main station Landstraße/Wien-Mitte. From the train station there is a direct subway connection to the house.. You need to take the U4 in direction Hütteldorf and get out at the third stop called Kettenbückengasse. The ride takes 5 minutes.
Our street is exactly in between both exits/entries of the subway station. Take the Wehrgasse exit. At the main street turn left and first right and you are in our street (Franzensgasse, 2 minutes walking).
Vienna has a superb public transportation system, its fast, accurate, safe and clean. But having said all that, do you really want to spend the time and the energy in studying the subway system here? When you stay in our location you can reach most of the sights easy and fast by foot, and this for the fraction of the price of any hotel in our area or other vacation accommodations.

You can walk from here in 10 minutes to the old city (State Opera House, Ring Str. Kärtner Str. Albertina, Hofburg) or take the underground train from our street and get there in 2 minutes. Its all about location...as they say, but when you stay with us, you don´t need to pay that much as you would if you stay at other listings in our area.

Very practical accomodation, comfy and cosy appartment. Excellent location, with lots of nice restaurants and bars all around. Apartment is equipped with all modern facilities, and in a quiet street. On top of it all, the owner is very helpful and accomodating, I would definitely recommend this accomodation to others!

We stayed at michael's place for 2 week's in January.
Because of the price and the location right in the middel of everything, we were a bit sceptical and cautious.
But the contact with Michael was very pleasant. He was very helpfull right from the beginning and we could pay in cash in Vienna, so we decided to take it.
We had a wonderful stay. You know the say, location, location, location...but its usually comes with the price tag attached to it. Well, not here.
The central location enables you to see so much in a short time, as almost everything is in walking distance. And for sights that are further outside of the center, like Schonbrunn palace, you can just take the tube, which is in the street where the apartments are, and you get there in 7 minutes!
The area is really pleasant, safe, clean and where you can feel the life in Vienna. Especialy the local restaurants around the house are of good quality and and much reasonable prices.
Our bed was surprisingly suberb. Its a box springs bed of good quality that is soft enough yet gives good support. The apartment is totaly renovated, so everything is new. Everything was spotless clean.
The street is very quiet and the house has an inner court where you can only hear the birds.
And above all, Michael was always available for any advise or tips we needed. He is always available through the video telephone at the entrance area and knows his way so good through the city. He saved us so much money in buying the most affordable tickets for museums, concerts and you name it.
Nice stay
Michael's place is right next to the Naschmarkt, a very good location. The place is clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a short stay. The booking process also went very well. He is very responsive to my questions and always answered at the first possible time. Recommended.

Booking can be one also last minute. Due to our code locks in the house, you can also arrive very late at night or early in the morning. You can pay in cash by arrival or next day. All of the accommodations are for no smoker. The staircase of our has a nice balcony to the inner court and the garden and you can smoke there. Almost all of our accommodations are pet free. We keep one room and one apartment for guests with pets.
