Description

Casa Michael is an immaculate three bedroom / three bathroom spacious villa over three floors with its own small private pool. Bright inside, airy and spacious but keeps cool in summer. It is situated in a quiet development known as "The Village" within the golden triangle that is between the well known luxury resorts Vale do Lobo and Quinta da Lago. One kilometer from the Vale do Lobo entrance. It is surrounded by large villas to the front and with an un-overlooked rear garden with barbecue.

There are large supermarkets a short drive by car. There are numerous first class restaurants within walking distance and many more within a five minutes drive. It is situated approximately one and a half kilometers from a number of glorious beaches and many famous championship golf courses. Families are well catered for with Go karting , water parks, horse riding, tennis clubs, mini golf, creches, dolphin watching, zoo marine to name but a few available in the area.

Great road links to explore all along the Algarve

The Algarve, in southern Portugal, is one of Europe’s most popular coastal holiday destinations. The long sandy beaches are amongst the finest in the world and the coastline stretches one hundred sixty one kilomters from Cape St. Vincent to Vila Real de Santo António on the Spanish border. Many of the holiday resorts are located in little fishing villages, which have retained much of their old world charm and character, with white washed houses, narrow cobbled streets and ancient churches. The Algarve is also a great place for shopping.

The Algarve has beautiful weather, and is described as having a temperate climate. With over 300 days of sunshine throughout the year it is a perfect place to go when escaping weather in other parts of Europe and the UK. There is something for everyone all year round; with the main holiday season extending from March to October, but even outside of these months it is often warm enough to sit outside, or sunbathe, and it is perfect for enjoying walks around the surrounding area.

The Algarve boasts over three hundred days of sunshine a year. It is perfect for a relaxing break, with golf and beauty spas plentiful. If you are looking for fabulous beaches there are over forty separate beaches along the coast from Faro to Guia.

The villa is centrally placed to explore all areas of the Algarve. Located within the "golden triangle" that is between Vale Do Lobo and Quinta Do Lago. It is eight hundred meters from the Vale de lobo entrance. The historic town of Loule is a ten minute drive away. Ten minutes along the coast you will find the beautiful harbor town of Villamoura and a few miles further to the lively tourist town of Albufeira. In land you can find many Portuguese villages steeped in history that is a vast contrast to the beach resorts. All types of sports are available within a short distance including golf, horse riding, tennis and many water sports. Directions

Total time from Faro Airport to our house is approx 20 minutes.

On arrival at Faro airport, collect your hire car or if your getting a taxi just follow taxi signs inside the airport and ask for Vale Da Quinta (The Village) we are a newish complex so if taxi driver is not sure just say it is on the road that connects Almancil to Vale Do Lobo.

Once you have your car - follow the exit sign and head for N125 sign posted FARO. After approximately 3 kms turn right at sign saying A22 towards Portimao, Loule, and Lisboa. After approximately 4 kms take N125 road towards Almancil - (this will be a sharp right hand turn just afer you have past a white washed church, you need to look out for it!). After a couple of kilometres you will reach Almancil town – drive through the town – passing a few sets of traffic lights. As you approach some traffic lights (probably the second set in the town of Almancil), on your left you will see a pink building and another roundabout. Turn left here (IF YOU REACH THE APPOLONIA SUPERMARKET YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR AND MISSED THIS LEFT TURN)

On turning left, keep driving on this road, you will pass a petrol station called AVIA on your left. About 50 metres past the AVIA garage turn left. It is signposted (small sign) to Vale Do Lobo. There is a big building site on your left. You will pass Mr Freddies restaurant on your right – keep driving along the road for about 1.5kms– you will pass a sign saying “Ferrarias”, proceed straight. There is a restaurant on the left called Los Pinearhous and it has a blue big sign – pass this and there is a sign on left saying Vale da Quinta - “The Village” – turn right here – drive down the hill and take first the first left. Casa Michael is no 60 and is the 2nd house along.

If you are coming from IP1 or A22 You need to come off at junction 12 which is signposted Loule Quarteria Almancil. You need to follow the road and head towards Quarteria and Almancil . You will get to a roundabout with large boats on your right. Turn right here and then turn off for Almancil. Keep following signs for Almancil. When you get to a roundabout with a restaurant La Paella on it. Drive down this road toward Almancil but turn first right. There is a Karting sign and a big ZEFA sign go down this road and keep following it until you get to a cross roads, turn left and immediately right. There are lots of signs on the side of the road but one should be Vale do Lobo. Drive past Mr Freddies restaurant on your rights keep going until you see a sign for The Village where you need to turn right. If you get to a large Villas and Vacations sign on left you have just past us.
