Description
Many bars and restaurants are situated within a short walk or drive. Tennis courts are also on site. Water park is just a 20 minute drive. The local town of Almancil is a 10 minute drive away with many supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. Faro airport is only a 25 minute drive.
Outside, there is a lovely garden, not overlooked, with large private pool. The patio is provided with table and chairs, parasol, and sun-loungers. There is also a poolside shower.
The villa is only a 15min walk or 5min drive to the beach. Golden Sand stretches for miles with high quality beach bars and restaurants. It is also close to the first fairway of Vale do Lobo's Royal Course. Other courses include Ocean Course, Villamoura's seven courses, Vila Sol, Quinta do Lago Nth, Sth, and the new Laranja, Pinheiros Altos, and, of course, San Lorenzo.
The villa is 25 minutes away from Faro, and 2 hours (easy drive) from Lisbon. Car hire is recommended, though not essential.
Good restaurants are situated on site. Supermarket is just a 5min walk. Vale do Lobo Centre is a 10min walk. Vilamoura Marina is a 30min drive, with fishing/boating trips. For the kids, the Seville theme park is just a 2.5hr drive.
