The villa is just a three minute walk away from the beach, the Rotunda swimming pool and all the restaurant and shopping facilities of the Vale Do Lobo 'praca'.

Watersports available at nearby Quinta do Lago lake. Horse riding centre ten minute drive away with riding on the beach. The property is managed by a local firm based 10 minutes away and can be contacted should you require any assistance during your stay. Vale Do Lobo Kangaroo children's village with hourly/daily creche service for ages 6 months to 12 years available at extra cost. At the 'Praca' on the seafront choose from a variety of restaurants and bars, including Portuguese, oriental, French, Italian, seafood, beach grill, breakfasts and snacks. On site supermarket (open 7 days a week), cash machines, and medical centre. Further shopping available at nearby Vale Do Lobo Golf complex, Quinta Do Lago shopping centre, and the towns of Faro, Almancil and Loule, which also has an excellent Saturday morning market. Coast/Beach Vale do Lobo's fantastic beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the house. The beach is clean and safe and suitable for family holidays. There are a few beach bars along the coastline where you can sample fresh grilled fish, BBQ chicken piri piri or a cool refreshing sangria. Sun loungers and umbrellas available to hire on beach. Rotunda swimming pool at the beach available at extra cost (adults Euro 18, Childrem Euro 9 per day). Several water theme parks within easy driving distance. Vale Do Lobo tennis centre Situated a ten minute walk from the house. Courts for hire. Private and group lessons and mixers. Floodlit courts. Host to one of the ATP Senior Tour events each year in August. Golf Vale Do Lobo has 2 Championship golf courses within 5 minutes walk and has hosted The Portuguese Open. Vale do Lobo is the perfect setting for all-year-round golf. The two beautiful courses, the Royal and the Ocean, wind through undulating fairways lined with umbrella pine, almond, fig and olive trees, down to the Atlantic shoreline and its cooling breezes. The Vale do Lobo clubhouse is only a 5 minute walk away. At least a dozen other courses are within a 15 minute drive including San Lorenzo, Quinta do Lago North and South, Pinheiros Altos, Vila Sol and several Vilamoura Oceanico courses, including The Old Course, Pinhal, Laguna, Millennium and Victoria. Reductions on green fees for some courses available from local golf agencies. Vale Do Lobo Spa Less than a five minute walk to luxurious spa with indoor swimming pool, relaxing surroundings and pampering treatments. Prices start at Euro 25 for use of the facilities.

Great space and excellent location
My family and I were very happy with the accommodation that we had chosen during our stay in Vale do Lobo July 15 – July 24, 2011. There were 5 of us renting the townhouse, but there was plenty of space for my husband and I, and 3 boys (2 teenagers and 1 child). I was very pleased with the kitchen and all the necessary utensils which it provided. With almost London restaurant prices, going out every day or sometimes twice a day with 3 boys, a holiday can really hit your bank account. That is why we did some grocery shopping in a town nearby and stayed in a couple of nights. There is also a large BBQ which we used to cook what turned out to be one of the best meals we had in Portugal (mostly due to very fresh produce).
We found the townhouse to be very tidy and nicely furnished and it was very helpful that a maid has come in a few times during our stay.
We were all extremely happy with the location. The townhouse is only 3 min away from the beach and also from the main restaurant court in Vale do Lobo. Since we spent most of the time at the beach, it was not only a question of convenience, but also helped to avoid potential fights in an event when one of the kids would forget to bring something, then having to go back to pick it up. We also joined the tennis academy and for most of us, the 20 min walk to the lessons turned out to be a great warm up in the morning.
There are great restaurant recommendations at the property provided by the owner and I strongly suggest leaving the resort at least once to explore the nearby villages. The food there is much more delicious compared with restaurants in Vale do Lobo, the service is better and the prices are significantly cheaper. Two of the favourites are Tinos and O Malviero.
We had a great holiday and would definitely go back to Vale do Lobo and rent the same townhouse.
