Description

Jardins do Golfe is nestled beside the 2nd hole of the Royal Course, a short distance from the main entrance of Vale do Lobo. The Jardins do Golfe complex is set in beautiful, mature and well tended gardens we have two onsite pools & 3 tennis courts. Included for your holiday is complimentary membership to Barringtons facilities of indoor heated pool, outdoor pool, fitness gym, jacuzzi, sauna, restaurants and bars, golf range and putting green.

The walk to the beach takes less than 15 minutes along a private road, then alongside the Royal Golf Course pathway. It is an easy stroll, suitable for all ages and buggys. Newly opened is Paixa restaurant / wine bar (very popular with the glitterati!) that boasts a fabulous selection of wine displayed in glass wine cellar. In winter there is an open log fire.

There are also 3 new synthetic all weather tennis courts and a practice court in Jardins do Golfe – tennis instructors are available on-site all year round. Guests are Jardins Do Golfe have preferential prices for tennis lessons and court hire.

It is only a short minute walk from the complex to the cash machine, restaurants, post office, newsagent, bank, hair dresser, spa, cafes etc. in Parque Do Golfe.

Car required?	Recommended It is not necessary to have a car, but, I would recommend car hire outside of peak season to give you the flexibility to explore the Algarve. We can organise car hire for you. Alternatively I can arrange a personal meet and greet service from/to the airport in a private car that also provides child car seats. It costs approx 30 euros from the airport to Jardins in a public taxi.
Local leisure activites	In the villa is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. Before departure for your holiday we provide an e-book with lots of information about the Algarve and Golden Triangle so you start planning your holiday. The local area has a huge variety of activities to interest the whole family. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, champagne cruises, shark & dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours and cultural visits. In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin. There is also an Aqua Park (10 mins drive on the other side of Quateria) and a Swim With Dolphins experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the motorway). Faro town is a 15 minute drive. There is a large shopping centre (the Forum) that offers good facilities for supermarket and retail shopping. Faro Old Town has an interesting history and several historic landmarks worth investigating. There is a lovely harbour with restaurants dotted about. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosiacs that is open to the public. Quarteria & Loule both boast excellent markets that sells both fresh produce and local made products. Within a couple of hundred metres walk is the wonderful Gourmet Natural Restaurant and Bar (The Ermitage) excellent cocktails and meals in a luxury setting of tropical gardens. Also within walking distance (about 10 minutes) is A Floresta Indian Restaurant and the Cosy Bar which shows live sports and has regular amusing karoke nights. From the villa towards Vale Do Lobo are another good selection of restaurants including the Sao Gabriel - a Michelin star restaurant and the Thai Garden restaurant also highly recommended. I also recommend the several 'beach shack' restaurants collectively known as 'Julias', a 3 minute drive from the villa located on the Ancao beach where celebrity spotting is a favourite pastime. The Quinta do Lago Shopping Centre is a couple of miles down the road, here there are many exclusive designers shops and some lovely restaurants/cafes. There is also a Italian restaurant that delivers pizza and pasta (and a bottle of wine) to the villa for those nights that you just can't be bothered to cook. Just to say thank you very much for the rental of no/24 Jardins do Golf in February. We enjoyed our stay there, it was a very clean and well kept apartment, Portugal as always is one of our favoured countries to be in through our uk winter, who knows we may meet again in the future

WOW - what a service :-)))
Nicky and I had a wonderful stay at 24 Jardins de Golf! We loved the apartment and the grounds, both were clean and very well looked after. Everything was very near by and we thoroughly enjoyed the scenic walk to the beach! We found both Joe and his wife very nice and helpful, nothing was too much for them. For example, one evening we tried to book a taxi over the telephone, unfortunately we don't speak much Portuguese. We called Joe to see if he could assist (and on a Sunday too, oops), he was more then happy to book the taxi for us, which turned up on time and took us to where we needed to go. Erika kindly booked a rental car on our behalf, which was delivered to/collected from the apartment on time - wow what a service! Thanks again and hope you see you soon!

We had a Great Time in Portugal !
We had a great time in Portugal, the apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. The cleaning service was very good, even hung out our laundry for us. You were also great at helping us arrange our car and giving us directions to various places. We had a great time and would definitely hope to come back to your apartment in the future. The resort is great for kids with the beach, crazy golf and play ground so there was plenty to keep them occupied. Thanks for all your help and I hope to be in touch again in the future

The Omen was we should Stay On !
The holiday was great, the apartment was too, like you said everything we ever needed. We did have a bit of a panic when we left at 8.30am on our last day, the front gate was locked by key which had not happened all week, we thought it was an omen and we had to stay on! We eventually found our way to the back of the complex and went out that way. I have already recommended this to my family and friends and I am sure we will be back too. Will hopefully be contacting you soon for another holiday. Thankyou for everything and will be in touch for another lovely holiday

Like Staying in a Friends Home
I want you to know that Linda and I were absolutely delighted with the apartment, with the service we got from the team, with the "welcome basket" etc, the bikes, activity notes, etc, etc. It was wonderful to have all the comforts of home (just like staying in a friend's villa, really) - such a pleasant change. But we would very much like to visit Vale do Lobo again at some point in the future, so we will get to meet you !
