Nestling in the peaceful country setting of an old hillside farm estate and set amid orange, almond and olive trees, the Quinta is about forty-five minutes drive from the Airport at Faro.
The nearest beach, less than two miles away, is a magnificent long stretch of sand, bounded by dunes, where it is always possible to escape the crowds, even in August.
There are two swimming pools, a children's play area and pool, tennis court, restaurant and bar, mini-golf course, table tennis and petanque.
The Riding Stables at the Quinta have some fabulous horses that are available for gallops across the dunes or slow hacks through the countryside.
There are attractive country walks in the vicinity and there is a wetlands nature reserve nearby with a wealth of bird and plant life not commonly found in the UK. Purple Heron, Little Bittern, Alpine Swift, Bee Eater, Red Necked Night Jar, Azure Winged Magpie and more.
Casa Redonda is situated slightly away from the main group of villas.
The villa is air-conditioned throughout and this is included in the rent except from November through till March when it is charged as is the electricity and logs.
It has an entrance hall/dining-room, a good-size sitting room, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with separate shower and electric towel rail.
The kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, double sink, microwave oven, electric oven with eye level grill, and a hob with both electric and gas rings.
The sitting-room has a television receiving BBC1, BBC2, Channel 4, Channel 5, BBC Choice, BBC News 24 plus others including Portuguese television.
For Winter occupation, there is a good stove/open fire in the sitting-room and electric heaters throughout.
There is a forty metre long garden with terrace, barbecue and a small shallow pool (3.6m wide and .75m deep) which is ideal for a refreshing dip and particularly good for children.
There are tables and chairs for eating out as well as sun loungers and umbrellas. Bedding and towels are provided but not towels for the beach or pools.
There is a telephone for in-coming calls.
The villa is for two people but an extra bed or cot can be put in for a child or baby at an extra cost of £50 per week.
The villa rental is inclusive of maid service, hot water and cooking gas. Electricity and logs are also inclusive, except during the low season when we charge a basic rent of £190 per week.
A complimentary starter pack will be put in the villa consisting of eggs, milk, butter, sugar, coffee, tea, bread, drinking water and white wine.
The rent also includes the use of all the amenities at the Quinta, except for a charge for the tennis court.
Bookings are on a weekly basis from Thursday to Thursday, but if your holiday has to start on specific days, please let me know - we can be flexible.
The winter rental rate does not include electricity and wood

Casa Redonda
I just wanted to echo Rachael's sentiments in the note she wrote and say a huge thank you for all your help with our holiday. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable time together you could possibly imagine and if we venture to the Algarve again we will undoubtedly be heading for the Redonda again! We were talking on the flight home and saying how we wish we could take it to all our holiday destinations!
The whole Quinta resort though was fabulous. The restaurant was brilliant and Alice also did so much to ensure that we only had to give minimal thought to all the pursuits we wanted to undertake during our time there.

Thank you so much for our lovely time at the villa. It was so peaceful and just like home from home. The weather was great. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the beaches, talking, relaxing and eating!!! (It was also a great bonus to have all the television channels - to watch the election results and to keep up to date re. volcanic ash disturbances)
As we had the car we travelled around quite a bit and re-lived many memories of our holiday in the Algarve over 10 years ago.

Just to say we had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the stay. We had had a very busy year work wise and difficult year with loss of parents and friends so the restful and friendly setting was just what we needed.

Hi, had the most fabulous holiday at the Quinta.My Mother in Law loved Casa Redonda so much she hardly wanted to leave it!! Absolutely perfect.Have already filled in questionnaire as the office give out the same one, all perfect and the best villa by far of the 6 we have stayed in, especially kitchen it had every utensil you could imagine needing, we will definitely return, and book through you.

I'm certain we will be back. My wife Ana is Portuguese and we plan to travel to Portugal at least once a year and visit
the Algarve each time from our home base at the family villa just north of Lisbon. The Quinta is a great place and in a central location. We love it.
Casa Redonda
I have been going to stay in Casa Redonda with you for 14 years now and every visit is like the first. The villa is always warm in the winter and our visit in the summer months was made even better by the new air-conditioning. The garden is always looking lovely and Julio does a fabulous job to keep it looking so colourful. Looking forward to our next trip.
