This property comprises an old 'Mas' house and 2 adjoining modern self-contained apartments, arranged around a private pool. Set in its own grounds, the entire is let as one property. Rows of vines adorn the surrounding fields, with olive and apricot trees in abundance.
The old 'Mas' house has 3 bedrooms (double, twin and single) and the two adjoining apartments have 2 bedrooms each (double + bunk room) and (twin + bunk room).
Each apartment has its own kitchenette / living room providing the basics. Free-to-air satellite TV (with DVD player) and a stereo are in the main house. Sky users should bring their sky viewing card to access the Sky satellite.
The ample accommodation will suit an extended family, or two families sharing their holiday. The private pool (10m x 6m) has been fully upgraded this year and benefits from an automatic roll-out cover.
Provence is a region of south eastern France and therefore it has a Mediterranean climate which is characterised by hot and dry summers, and mild winters. There is plenty of sunshine all year round.
The landscape is beautiful and the area is famous for attracting many artists, including famous painters and authors. It is a pleasure to enjoy the views while listening to the relaxing chirp of crickets.
Vaison-la-Romaine is a Roman city and therefore many Roman excavation sites are accessible to the public. The town is on a rocky cliff and the typical Provençal houses give the town a very medieval look.
Mirabel-aux-Baronnies is a small town and is also perched on a hill: the scenery around is simply breathtaking. There is a food market on Fridays and olives are a savory you will be able to buy. From June to September, there is an antiques market every two weeks on Sunday and often, bargains can be had. The 15th August, which is a bank holiday in France, is the Fete du Vin (Wine Festival).
Mirabel has a tourist office, a post office, as well as shops for your daily needs. There also are 2 restaurants.

Beautiful House in Provence
A stunningly beautiful but comfortable and well-equipped house is Provence. We thoroughly enjoyed a very relaxing week I would highly recommend this house because of its beautiful location, ease of airport transfer and hassle free booking, which all made for a very successful holiday. We hope to return this summer and can’t wander down to the local town to collect croissants for breakfast, spend the day at the local Haribo factory, or simply relax by the pool - thanks so much for letting us use your wonderful home.
Superb Retreat in Provence
A superb retreat nestled in a simply charming area of Provence, having spent 4 days there last summer I left with the only disappointment being that I hadn't taken more time off work to spend longer there.- Definitely would go again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway to kick back and relax. Particularly worth note was the additional accommodation detached from the house which with its own facilities, which meant despite seven of us staying the place still had an a spacious feel to it
