Master en-suite with elegant dressing room, 4 further double/king en-suites and 1 twin and 1 double sharing huge family bathroom. Double bed settees in snug and garden room on ground floor.
The impressive Georgian facade of this lovely old rectory hides an elegant interior with elevated ceilings decorated with original plaster cornices, time-worn flagstone and hardwood boarded floors.
A welcome into the grand entrance hall with its twinkling chandelier and hand-made sweeping oak staircase sets the scene for what is in store beyond.
Off the entrance hall is the grand drawing room enjoying views through the graceful Palladian windows to the lawns and church beyond. The dining room opposite, with its wide boarded elm floors, oriental rugs and enormous, ornate, brass chandelier offers dining space for up to 24 guests.
The warmth from an oil fired Aga welcomes you to the lofty ceilinged kitchen, fully fitted with cream painted units and gleaming, granite works tops perfect for catering for a crowd.
Also on the ground floor is an airy, south-facing garden room with french doors leading out onto lawns beyond and a cosy, wood-panelled study/snug, both furnished with a double bedsettee for up to four occasional guests. The Victorian style cloakroom retains its enormous, original basin with brass taps and cast-iron toilet cistern from yesteryear.
On the first floor is the breathtaking 'oriental' master suite. The oriental theme carries through the spacious dressing room, fully fitted with floor to ceiling cupboards and wardrobes, into the huge master bedroom with four-poster bed set on luscious, oriental rugs and on into the master bathroom with canopied, claw-footed bath and huge, free-standing 'his and hers' sinks.
A further palladian-windowed master ensuite bedroom holds a hidden secret - an enchanting 'witch in the wardrobe' bathroom, complete with claw-footed bath. Two further double ensuite bedrooms complete this floor.
On the second floor, a huge family bathroom is shared by a spacious double and a twin bedroom. A further pretty 'English' style double bedroom hides a shower room inside an ancient closet.
