Description
River view is a two bedroom log cabin which can sleep up to four guests. The log cabin is situated in between Melkridge and Haltwhistle.
Also includes a shower room, open plan sitting/dining and kitchen area. Complete with log burner, gas central heating, TV and DVD. Kitchen is equipped with utensils, microwave, gas oven, hob and fridge.
The steps at the foot of the log cabin lead up to the upper level with a private veranda with seating looking out over and views of the Tyne valley.
The cabin is self-catering with all kitchen equipment with all bedding and towels are provided in the price.
The log cabin is situated in between Melkridge and Haltwhistle. Halwhistle is the center of Britain in the heart of Hadrians Wall country, also near is the two thousand year old roman Vindolada and Housesteads Roman fort.
The log cabin is sited near walk ten called Beach and Burn of the Halwhistle Rings, which is a series of twenty two walks taking in the best of the local countryside has to offer. Northhumberland is regarded as Englands premium rural destination.
You can also take a tour on Hadrians wall country bus AD122 from twenty second April to thirtieth October 2012. Tel 01434 322002 for bus info, and the log cabin is also close to cyclist route 72 on national cycle network call 0845 113 0065 for cycle information. Halwhistle is easily accessed by train and the log cabins is approximately two miles from Halwhistle train station.
