There are two living rooms: one with games, books and DVDs for the children. The large dining room with seating for 20 enables guests all to come together for meals. With spectacular sunsets and lots of privacy, this house will provide guests and their family and friends with a wonderful holiday location.

Close to the south west Wales coastline, Dan-y-Cwarrre is perfect for family holidays and celebrations. Perfectly located close to the fine sandy beaches of Pembrey Country Park, the Gower Peninsular is 40 minutes away and Pembrokeshire is an hour’s drive away with little fishing villages, more sandy beaches and Oakwood (Wales' Alton Towers). The new Welsh race course Ffos Las is close by as are Pembrey Motorsports centre, fine golf courses, fishing and horse riding.

Highchair and travel cot available for guests use. The owners also allow a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs. There is also a downstairs bedroom with en-suite shower room suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Set in 18 acres, the property is well equipped outside including five acres of woodland there is plenty of space to explore. There is a large trampolene for use by guests at their own risk.

Ten minutes drive will take guests to the Llanelli beach with the millennium coastline cycle track. Another 15 minutes drive leads to Cefn Sidan beach which incorporates Pembrey Country Park with it's many attractions including 'Go Ape', outdoor ski-slope, toboggan run, horse riding, mini golf, mini railway and beautiful forest walks. With another distance of 45 minutes drive, guests will be led to Tenby and Saundersfoot plus another 45 minutes drive to the Gower Peninusular.

For golf lovers, the Glyn Abbey Golf Course is approx 2 miles. Machynys Golf Course is approx 6 miles while Ashburnam Golf Course is approx 10 miles. Jack Nicklaus Golf Course is also approx 60 miles, all perfect for a wonderful golf playing sessions.

Due to present economic climate, weekend prices are now down from £292 per night for 3 or 4 night stays to only £150 per night and weekly price is down from £1243 to only £700.

We still have some availability for September and October (half term week already booked).

Changeover day is Friday. Weekend bookings and mid week breaks available.

Availability notes:

Please book by direct contact with owner. A deposit of one third of price is required to secure the booking and final payment is required 10 weeks prior to holiday commencing. Last minute bookings are also taken.

Living room notes:

Two living rooms, one with wood burner, satellite TV, DVD, comfortable seating and spectacular views. Living room 2 has games; TV, DVDs, children’s books and a small fold away pool table. Large room for children to play happily in.

Dining room notes:

Large wood-panelled dining room with beautiful views. Easily seats 20, enabling the whole party to enjoy eating together.

Bedroom notes:

Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are all large family rooms with double bed, 2 single beds and hand basins.

Bedrooms 4 and 5 are large rooms with 3 single beds.

Bedroom 6 has bunk beds.

Bathroom notes:

Bathroom 1 is large with bath, WC and separate shower.

Bathroom 2 with bath / shower over and WC.

En-suite to bedroom 5 with shower (downstairs and suitable for guests with less mobility).

Kitchen notes:

Large well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker and 2 freezers.

All bed linen and towells are provided, although we would ask that guests supply their own beach towels. The property is cleaned thoroughly and bedding and towels changed after each letting.

Cardiff Airport is approx 60 miles away. Use of car is recommended. Nearest train station is Llanelli. Nearest bus stop is Five Roads.

earest village (Five Roads) is one and a half miles with shop, post office with free to use cash machine and two pubs serving good quality food. Nearest garage with mini supermarket is 2 miles. Nearest town is Llanelli, 7 miles with supermarkets, banks, cinema, swimming pool, shopping centres, parks, children's indoor play places, a variety of eating establishments. Also nearby is Kidwelly Castle (approx. 8 miles).
