Stockton on the Forest is a pretty village approxamatly 4 ml from York and on bus route every 30 mins to York and East Coast .The attractive Forest Park Golf Course is a short stroll away there are many lovely places in local villages serving excellent meals.
No parking worries we have ample free onsite parking for all our guests most of who leave the car and travel on the regular bus into York .
Whether you want a short mini break or longer stay we can accommodate your needs it the ground floor cottages or B&B in the main 280 yr old former farmhouse

Our Cottages are to the rear of our the 200yr old former farmhouse that provides Quality B&B. Ranges from a one bedroomed cottage for two a family cottage one bedroom double bed and two single and a two bedroomed cottage that can sleep up to five all have a comfortable lounge with tv to relax in after a tiring day kitchens have cooker fridge and microwave. Stable door opens on to courtyard where you are welcome to use a disopable barbacue and sit outside. They are self catering and ideally located for York on a bus route every 30mins so you can leave the car with no parking worrys and spend a full day and evening in the city the last bus back is approx 12pm. All the cottages are individually decorated with attractive furnishings and fittings all ground floor located in the countryside but just 10 minutes from the Historic city of York. The B&B has one four poster room one triple overlooking the church and one groundfloor family room.
There are many lovely country walks and a host of country pubs and good eating places. The Coastliner bus runs through the village every 30mins to York and the East Coast you can manage without a car the bus stops at the railway station Christmas time in York: The cottages can be let for winter mini breaks and Christmas. York is lovely to visit from the end of November when the St Nicholas fayre is here step back in time music in the streets market stalls fro far and near all selling produce and gifts. Lots of lovely places to eat and local restaurants serving Christmas dinner. Temporary Home: The cottages are ideal for people working in the area away from home and can be let from Monday to Friday also for people on courses or inbetween house moves we can also provide storage of your goods should it be necessary. Groups: we can accommodate a large group for a birthday celebration and help you organise any entertainment and outings etc

an excellent carvery and the best fish and chip restaurant/take away you could wish for

The main house B&B serves breakfast of your choice and evening meals can be orderd in advance
Breakfast can be ordered if staying in the cottages subject to no of guests staying
