Description

Newland Valley log cabins have two delightful log cabins, Damson cabin and Pear tree cabin both sleeps four guests + cot comfortably.

..Log Built...

Our cabins have been built using the traditional method used for centuries, combining the best of an age-old way of building with the modern comforts and green elements of a solar combination heating system. backed up with the comfort of a log burner also fitted with back boiler along with central heating all run from a green heating system.

Each cabin has all ground floor accommodation on a split-level.

Sleeping four + cot if required, two bedrooms; two king-size double beds(Zip and link – in the second bedroom, can be split by prior arrangement) cot supplied on request. Bathroom with roll top bath & shower over, basin, WC & heated towel rail, open plan living area with galleried handmade kitchen, lounge/dining area with wood burner. Shared utility building. Each cabin has it’s own Veranda with table and chairs for alfresco dining. Note there are three steps between sitting/dining area and rest of accommodation. Sorry no smoking no pets.

Combination solar heating system throughout, wood burning stove with back boiler. Each cabin has LPG gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher (washer, dryer & drying rack in separate utility building shared with next door cabin), color TV DVD player.

Heating, power & starter pack for wood burner included in rent.

Bed linen and towels Included in rent. A cot & high chair are available upon request. Off road parking. Bike storage available on request. Veranda with table and chairs, barbecue and open grassed area to the side of the property. Sorry no pets and no smoking on site. Shop and pubs one mile; Damson Cabin is accessed by a sloping path; both cabins have four steps up to the front doors. Two steps up to the garden veranda.

Damson Cabin

Roll top bath with shower over, heated towel rail, WC and washbasin.

Garden with rural views, barbecue facilities, large veranda with garden furniture.

Please note Damson cabin is accessed via a slope and three steps to the porch area.

Private off road parking

Set on the edge of the Cumbrian national park Newland valley log cabins are a small development of two traditionally built log cabins.

Set within the hillside in the meadow grass & orchard trees, a truly peaceful and tranquil location.

The log cabins are overlooking the rolling hills and southern coastline of Cumbria.

Damson and Pear Tree Cabin's are truly substantial accommodation with natural character and aesthetic charm.

Boasting first-class accommodation, the cabins have a split-level living area with wood burner, two delightful bedrooms and exposed timbers throughout, combining to create a wonderfully cozy atmosphere.

The large balcony is ideal for dining al fresco and enjoying the view, whilst

there is an array of good walks from the doorstep. The nighttime attractions of Ulverston are within walking distance, whilst the National Park, Haverthwaite Railway, the World of Beatrix Potter and the sandy beaches of the Furness Coast are within easy reach. Ideal for a romantic retreat.

Pear Tree Cabin
