Description
The house is orientated with the prevailing trade winds to keep the house cool. The garden is full of tropical and exotic flowers and fruit, and runs down to a small sandy protected cove, protected by a reef just out in the bay. Ohana was designed with a Balinese tropical influence and resembles a small village of tiny houses perched upon a bluff. Four double bedrooms wrap around a large sun deck of two swimming pools, jacuzzi and a large koi fish pond. Each individually designed bedroom is lavishly furnished with a four poster bed, en-suite bathroom and air conditioning with overhead fans and digital bedroom safes large enough to hold your laptop.
Humming birds, blue birds and cocricos fly around the gardens, and you can watch the ornamental koi fish from your hammock whilst sipping a home made rum cocktail.
It is hard to leave Ohana, even though the stunningly beautiful little island of Tobago is full of enticing activities and day trips, our guests find it difficult to tear themselves away from the house. In fact, many guests never leave the house and wonder why they hired a car.
Worth leaving home for are Tobago’s beautiful waterfalls; one of the oldest rainforests in the northern hemisphere; and for bird enthusiasts, there are over 210 different bird species; as well there are excellent diving and deep sea fishing. Our staff will be happy to arrange for any island activities using our preferred tour operators.

* Payment by wireless transfer or credit card.
* Our housekeepers will cook, serve, and wash up each morning for breakfast as this is included in the daily rate - however all ingredients for breakfast are to be provided by guests.
* Other meals can be requested and are charged at 20-30 US dollars per meal – again all ingredients to be provided by guests.
* Excellent and highly recommended aromatherapy massages by Rena can be arranged for $50 USD.
* We require a 40% deposit and the final payment 60 days before your arrival. Payment can be by wire transfer or credit card.
* A US$2000 damage deposit will be returned within 3 weeks of your departure date minus any breakages or international phone calls.

Truly a special place
On behalf of the group thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at Ohana. It is truly a special place. The energy there is amazing. We are all seasoned travelers with countless experiences in staying in special places (and one of us is an hotelier), but we all feel so refreshed in a very different way. One of us practices very advanced yoga and she was so impressed with what she could achieve there. Your staff, Rena in particular, are so kind and efficient, we felt so at peace we never wanted to leave the house! We will most definitely return and thank you once again for the opportunity...
Never want to leave
Arrived totally manic from the hastle of London and left leaving so chilled I had to be carried out... kicking! Never want to leave Ohana, it's divine staff made everything perfect for us. It really is wonderful here. Thank you and we will be coming again sooner than we hope.
Perfect hideaway
Hard to find something to write which has not already appeared in this book! We have had the most wonderful time in this perfect hideaway. Thanks to Rena and the team for taking such wonderful care of us. We will definitely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later. We all agree it should be kept a secret from everyone else! The most fabulous villa we have ever stayed in and we have been to many villas all over the world.
Glorious
Ohana we will miss dearly. The peacefulness of being here surrounded by such beauty and kindness. and to be able to share with family friends. This magical place made turning 40 so wonderful! It is very hard to leave here but I have a feeling we will be back. Whenever the craziness of everyday life overwhelms you, you can close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine the sounds, smells, and sights of Ohana and be calmed. That is to be cherished forever. Online photos of Ohana looked fantastic. But upon arriving realized it was glorious! Gloria! Gloria! It surpassed our expectations. The design and attention to detail made every glance and every corner a new discovery. The phrase "I can't believe this place" never wore out. Of course it is sad to leave paradise... But as Michelle said above, you can close your eyes and imagine it.
Paradise
Edenic, Paradise, Lovely, Smashing, Super are just some of the words that come to mind when trying to compare the incomparable villa Ohana and its' sweet staff. Rena, Sherma and Jenny are little gems and Shadow is your mate forever if you treat him to a Carib. If we had a glass or extra special fine wine, every sip you would savor. Sip and savor every moment because I'm sure you'll find just as we did that time just flies by. We just hope for the day when everyone will have such beautiful conditions. We hope we can come back soon.
Wonderful
When I read in Isaiah about the future paradise on Earth, Ohana certainly fits that description as closely as any place on earth now. Seldom does a place live up to our expectations and equally seldom do the photos on the internet give a truly accurate picture. Ohana has met and in many ways surpassed both. Ohana means family and Rena, Sherma, Jenny and Shadow made us feel at home. Their attention and hard work were truly appreciated. The villa itself was superb. Imagine grilling meals in your own living room. The view phenomenal. Truly paradisiacal. The setting sun and moon. And don't miss going to the beach below. We played scrabble, chess and we relaxed. Thank you for a wonderfully wonderful stay in your gorgeous home, thank the staff and their care and caring, and thank Jehovah for such a wonderful earth.
