Description
The is a luxury semi-detached Villa, one of 16, set in a private complex. The gated development has landscaped gardens and a large communal pool as well as reception and underground parking. Located in the heart of the village of Conceiçao which adjoins the popular resort Cabanas de Tavira. The villas are within walking distance of Benamour golf course and local amenities including restaurants, cafés, a mini market and chemist. The resort and sea front at Cabanas is just 15 minute walk away, and the historical town of Tavira is a 5 minutes drive.
The villa has 2 terraces one upstairs from bedroom 1 and 2 and another downstairs from the living/dining room. The upstairs terrace has a 4 seater table and charis and a 2 seater. This terrace overlooks the pool. The downstairs terrace has a 6 seater table and chairs and a sofa with 2 separate armchairs and an electric BBQ, again this overlooks the pool and gardens.
Tavira's beach (Ilha de Tavira) can be reached by a short 10 minute boat trip and is accessible all year round. This beach has been voted one of the best is Europe.
The town of Cabanas is a 15 minute walk away and is reached by small boat with a charge of 70 cents.
Manta Rota beach is a 5 minute drive away but the beach is easily accesssible. You can drive almost on to the beach.
Benamor Golf Course is literally a couple of minutes away. Other courses within a very short drive from the villa include Quinta da Ria/Quinta de Cima and Castro Marim, as well as the exclusive Monte Rei course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Seve Ballesteros has just opened a highly-rated course at Quinta do Vale and a 30 minute drive to the Quinta do Lago area takes you to some of Europe's top courses. Alternatively, there are a number of courses just over the border in Spain.

For people who prefer a little more strenuous exercise there is also a local kite-surfing school, horse riding, tennis and many mountain bike trails. Boats leave the pier for deep-sea fishing all along the Algarve Coast.
Car hire is not essential, though an advantage for seeing all the beauty and places of interest this region has to offer. Taxi from Faro airport shouldn't cost more than 40 euros which can be organized through me.
Faro airport is a 25 minute drive away. The local village of Conceicao is just 100m down the road. Cabanas town and beach is a 15 minute walk away. The historical town of Tavira is just a 5 minute drive away. Monte Gordeo and Vila Real is a 15 minute drive. The boarder of Spain is a 20 minute drive away.
The local village consists of a few shops, restaurants, cafes and bars which also serve food. It also has a golf shop and chemist an childrens park. In the summer the tourist train comes up to Conceiçao to take you down to the beach. The town of Cabanas has many restaurants and bars overlooking the sea. You can get the taxi boat over the estuary to Cabanas Beach or Ilha de Tavira. The historical town of Tavira also has a wide range of restaurants, beautiful churches, a Roman bridge and a medieval castle.
