Set in outstanding scenery overlooking the Viaur Gorge this beautifully restored former fermette offers traditional architecture whilst providing all the modern comforts of home.
The farm complex with its own pool is in a small hamlet located on the border of the Aveyron and Tarn departments offering easy access to all that these fabulously unspoilt departments have to offer. Coquelicot gite is our 3 bedroomed property with stacks of character. Arranged over 3 floors this pretty little gite is suprisingly spacious. Coquelicot is entered via a private patio area which has a table and seating for 6. An outside staircase leads to a balcony perfect for a quiet read. Through the front door you enter the large kitchen diner. The kitchen is fitted to a very high standard with a large fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas oven with extractor. It is fully stocked to enable full cooking facilities including over work-top lighting. Open stonework and beams combine with the oak dining table and chairs to provide a wonderful setting. Through the kitchen is a shower room + wc and a downstairs bedroom. On the second floor is a large sitting-room with Satellite TV, DVD + video, leading through to a second bedroom. Off a small landing a third story provides a romantic master bedroom and large family bathroom up in the eaves. The grounds are shared with our 2 other gites and the resident UK owners.
The complex is suitable for all parties, but is especially suited to families, with cots, highchairs, plastic wear, kiddies toilet seats, toys, books, bikes and even pet rabbits provided free of charge. It is a very safe site with stairgates inside and a pool security fence and we have lots of additional facilities to make it home from home. Coquelicot is fitted with a log burner and is suitable for out of season lets. Washing machine and ironing facilities are located in shared laundry for the site.

The car park is situated directly across the lane from the complex. Cars are allowed on site for unloading and then we politely request they are parked in the car park leaving the complex safe and quiet for the residents. |

Directions
From the RN88 you take the D17 Pampelonne. After about 4km turn right road marked Teillet 0.6 - at top of hill take first left. We are then on the next bend - car park to the left, complex to the right.
