The 4' 6" sofa bed with luxury memory foam mattress in the lounge can sleep 2.
The bespoke hand made fitted kitchen even includes a filtered water tap and large Baumatic Fridge/Freezer. Add to this the cosy toes underf'loor heating and a night in with a DVD becomes a must!
The apartment is a one stop train ride, lovely walk or 3 minute car journey from beautiful St Ives. St Ives is renowned for its wonderful array of beaches, galleries and shops including the Tate Gallery. Artists come from all over the world to paint or simply soak up the unique atmosphere and wonderful light .
There are so many things to do and places of interest to visit in Cornwall.The National Trust has many fine houses and gardens in the region. There are quaint villages such as Mousehole and the beautiful Port Issacs (made famous by the ITV programme Doc Martin) to visit. Kynance Cove, The Lizard Point and Sennon Cove offer coastal walks with breath taking views.
A visit to The Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth museum are a must!

Immediately outside the apartment there is a private seating area with a wonderful view across the bay. There is also a shared garden, again with stunning views where you could picnic or BBQ. There is a path from the back garden down to the St Ives to Carbis Bay coastal path. For the more adventurous it's only a 5 minute walk to Carbis Beach. By Road
The M5 and M6 (south bound) lead to the West Country.
From Exeter you can choose from two major holiday routes, the A30 and the A38.
The A30 will lead you across Bodmin Moor, and by taking the A38 route you will enter Cornwall across the Tamar Bridge in Plymouth. The roads are mainly dual carriageways.

There is a good service from most major cities.

"A Real Gem"
Dear Mike and Tina
I am cross with myself that I have managed to let so much time elapse before sending you our impressions of the flat at Godrevy, especially given the magical time we had there.
The first thing I would like to commend is the way you handled our renting of the property, right from our first e-mail enquiry. If you remember, the severe winter weather made the entire trip hopelessly unpredictable (all the more so, since we were coming from North Yorkshire), but you worked with us from the start to enable our stay to take place and were very flexible in every way. You were dependable, and hugely welcoming and straightforward, which meant a lot to us.
And when we arrived, there were no disappointments! The flat was a real gem - and cosy, even in the depths of winter. Very comfortable, simply designed and easy to manage, but with a luxurious feel - and the view across to the Godrevy lighthouse was such a delight.
A big plus was the fact that we were a little distance from St. Ives, quietly tucked away in Carbis Bay. We loved heading down to the beach from the flat and making our way into St. Ives along the coast path - and the home again at the end of the day.
On the last morning, as I'm sure I told you at the time, we packed up and left the flat early, as agreed, so that the cleaner could get her work done - but we couldn't bear to leave! So we went down that magical path to the beach one last time, did a short walk - and concluded the whole visit with a stop-off at the delightful beach café, where the friendly waitress served us a very generous slice of perfect Christmas cake with our coffee to send us on our way.
It was the first time in 30 years of family life that we had spent Christmas without our children, who were all abroad, so Godrevy had a tough job on its hands - but it more than rose to the challenge!
As for the equipment in the flat, we tried to be hypercritical, so as to give you some constructive feedback - but the only thing we gave the thumbs down to was the teapot! (We are tea purists - but gave in and went up to Tescos for some teabags in the end).
I hope this gives you some idea of how we enjoyed our stay. As for telling friends and family - we have spoken of your flat many times, and if people are not able to come this year, I'm sure they will in the future. As for us, we would not be free to come again until October half term.
