St. Andrews is the "Home of Golf" and a treasure trove of historical experiences. It is an ideal base from which to play two of the most famous Championship Courses - the Old Course, St. Andrews and Carnoustie. In addition, there are several great new courses, including Kingsbarns, and many hidden gems around the Fife Coast, In short, you don't need to be in a car or coach for several hours a day to have a wonderful golfing holiday. As well as golf, there are spectacular coastal walks, and many country roads for cycling enthusiasts.
