Just back in Ireland after a wonderful 2 week stay in this fantastic house in Javea. There were 10 of us in total 4 adults and 6 children and we had plenty of room. The children loved exploring all the different rooms in the house. Location is great for accessing the old town. Miguel's tapas bar a few doors up had great food and even delivered it to us! Jane was extremely helpful and did everything to ensure we had a great stay. This truly feels like a home you name it they have it... cooler box parasol beach play stuff, board games books and lots of DVDs. We were able to get parking most evenings around the corner. Beach was beautiful very safe for young kids. Look forward to returning someday.
Marguerite C. from IrelandWhat a great accommodation in Javea! Twelve of us stayed in this fantastic town house in the old town of Javea. I can only describe it as the perfect holiday home for families and others who are looking for a nice holiday in this part of Spain which still has its Spanish charm. The house is well equipped, clean and spacious for two families to holiday together. A lot of attention to detail and hard work has gone into renovating this wonderful property. We did not hire a car but everything was within walking distance as the house is well situated. The local supermarket is only 10 minute walk and for eating out there are various restaurants located around the old town. The local bus service runs every 30 minutes which was a great way to travel to the beach. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from the house. The owner made it a home from home and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable till the day we left. Thank you very much!
Paul M. from United KingdomEight of us stayed at the town house for a week and we all had a superb time. Beautifully decorated with plenty of room for up to 13 people and located in the heart of Javea. Great value and I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely house to anyone.
John R. from United KingdomThis ancient town house has been renovated to a very high standard. It's accomodation is spacious and very flexible. Th estandard of furniture and soft furnishings is exceptionally high. White Egyptian cotton bed linen and luxurious towels are an example of the attention to detail which its owners lavish on their house. Two spacious sun terraces with views of the ancient city are perfect for relaxing & sunbathing & eating & drinking etc. Its enclosed courtyard is well planted and tranquil, providing an oasis to balancce the days heat. It is also situated just off the well equipped kitchen; so perfect for outside eating. The house is meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. My stay was special because the house was so unique.
Susan from United KingdomA lovely positioned town house located in the heart of the old town Javea, with a traditional Spanish feel. The house worked perfectly for two families, all the facilities of home; spacious, comfortable with plenty of terraces and lounges to relax into the evening. There’s also Wi-Fi and large TV with DVD for the kids to entertain themselves. Ideally located within walking distance to a number of very good restaurants, so no need to drive in the evening with a local market on your doorstep for good local produce or morning breakfast. There’s a large fine sandy beach at Arunel, just a short drive away, along with good quality shops and a good selection of restaurants for lunch or evening meal. The harbor with its long promenade and its own beach is a short walk (20 minutes) and worth a visit. A very friendly part of Spain enjoyed by English and Spanish alike. We were very pleased with accommodation and location, and would certainly consider going again.
Terry from United KingdomBig and very beautiful city property. Near shops and the beach unless 5 minutes by car. Restaurants, tennis courts, discotheques ... near the beach. We were seduced by the welcomeof the particularly charming owners and we would recommend this rent in particular to families. The home is very clean and has two dishwashers, two washing machines... So, a significant comfort!
ANNE-MARIE G. from United KingdomWe were delighted as soon as we walked in to this spectacular house as it really has a 'wow' factor! This is a lovely house - spacious, comfortable, excellennt facilities and beautifully restored and furnished. We usually go for villas with a pool but didn't want to dirive everywhere or worry about the children near the pool so this was perfect for us. The location is ideal in that everything is within walking distance and we spent days on the beach and wonderful evenings sampling the delights of Javea Old Town. We really felt as though we had been in Spain and not an anonymous villa somewhere. A good expereince that we will be repeating so thank you! Highly recommended.
Penny from United KingdomWhat a rare find this authentic Spanish townhouse was! We were met in the dead of night by the owner who had worked hard preparing her home for us. It is centrally situated in the old town of Javea, within walking distance of delightful streets, shops, the old baroque church and an absolutely superb indoor food market - just 150 yards from the front door! The local Mercadona supermarket can be reached on foot within 10 minutes and the beach area is only a 10 minutes away by car. The house itself was a joy - large well-appointed rooms, excellent kitchen and so many bedrooms - we bounced around a bit as my wife and I were the only tenants. What was a shock was the breeze. We were a little nervous that there was no air-conditioning - but it really didn't need it as the house, built on a hill, attracts a beautiful breeze day and night, making it extremely comfortable to live in. Although the house is on four floors (to the top roof area) is was never a problem - and kept us quite fit!
Tony and Elizabeth Cauchi from United KingdomThe house itself is absolutely stunning, very comfortable and with ample space for a large family, extremely good value for money. The house has more communal space than you know what to do with and is perfect for relaxing, with board games, movies, music and a reading room and beautiful outside spaces. It is in the centre of the old town, with bars and restaurants within really close proximity, lovely for pottering around. We had a wonderful family holiday there and would strongly recommend it to anybody looking to stay in that area (although you could just holiday in the house and be perfectly content!) Enjoy!
Dee from United KingdomIf you want to stay in Javea there are two options really (or maybe three): stay in the old town , where this house is, stay out along the coats but then in much larger and more expensive homes (and few of these rent) or stay inland. The key advantage here is you have a little oasis in the heart of this beautiful old town, 300 metres from the main market and a short drive from the beaches. I have stayed several times and love the house for its old world feel, even though it has all the modcoms. I also like this region of Spain. Yes, there are tourists but there is also a very strong local community and so you don't feel necessarily in a tourist zone, particularly in the old town. The house is well thought up and besides the exercise of 3 floors (four if you count the roof terrace), not much to complain about and the price is quite correct.
Bonvivant from United KingdomThis really is a lovely house, very spacious and in a great location right in the middle of the old town of Javea. All the bars and restaurants are literally just a 5 minute walk from the house, there is a great wine bar just round the corner too! I will definitley be coming back here again.
Lisagf from United KingdomNous avons passe une agreable semaine a Javea.
Brezillon from United KingdomIt is a dream home, many surfaces and very well restored. The beach is not far and historic sites are to walk. The relationship with the owner is excellent. I absolutely recommend you
