The access from the road is via six steps that are easily climbed or easily accessed by wheelchair or pushchair as each rise is low. Access from the car park is via five short flights of steps, or via the lift which is both reliable and well maintained. There are no steps in the apartment and the route to the pool is on a slight gradient. Suitable for those that are wheelchair dependent. Situated at the end of a cul de sac there is the minimum of traffic, safe for the kids.
The apartment is surrounded by well maintained and mature gardens,( VISIT OUR WEBSITE AT rhsupply.co.uk), the apartment although on the ground floor has elevated views over the golf course but is not closely overlooked affording a high level of privacy. Mature palm trees are typical of the gardens which contain many scented shrubs. A pitch black outlook is typical of the view from the patio's during hours of darkness as they overlook the golf course, you are not closely overlooked.
I have left binoculars for you to view the wildlife from the patio's, how many different creatures can you spot. Olly the Owl (Small Owl) visits each evening before dark and can often be seen on top of the fence posts outside the patio's.
Beaches and bars are 3 minutes drive and 10&30 minutes walk. The Costa del Sol is an area in the south of Spain that benefits from exceptionally good Mediterranean weather, with average Summer temperatures exceeding 25 degrees and August temperatures regularly exceeding 35 degrees. The coastline, full of natural splendor, extends for 161km and its various beaches range from huge expanses of golden sand to hidden coves with secluded beaches. An average of more than 300 cloudless days a year.
Situated on the Duquesa golf course with around 50 courses along the Costa del Sol coastline, the visiting golfer is completely spoilt for choice. Many of the courses are hilly, some requiring a buggy for any but the super fit, however there are also a good number of fairly flat parkland courses. The courses at this end of the Costa del Golf tend to be less crowded and better value than those nearer to Marbella.
The area surrounding Duquesa boasts some of the best golf courses in Europe, Valderama, Sotogrande, San Rogue, Real Club du Golf and La Canada. Estepona Golf Club is less than 15 minutes away and another 15 minutes away are more courses including Aloha, Los Naranjos, La Quinta and Las Brisas. Of course the apartment overlooks the La Duquesa Golf Course designed by Robert Trent Jones and is 10 minute walk from apartment and is 18 holes, Par 72, 6142 meters.
There is winter skiing 2 hrs drive away in the Sierra Nevada mountains. There are paddle courts available for use within 100 yards. Beach fishing can provide a number of various species ideal for the table.

My husband and I are returning clients. We have always found this apartment to be wonderful, with everything you could wish for. It is situated close to a fabulous marina with fine beaches, every kind of good restaurants and bars. There several lovely towns Sabillinas, Manilva and Estepona in particular. Only 20 minutes drive from Gibraltar and we are considering again for 2012.
Had a great time, apartment is very comfortable and well fitted out. Immaculately presented, best place I have stayed.
