Comfortable holiday in Sozopol

We had 1 week in a comfortable apartment: new, good looking, good furnitures, beautiful sight on Sozopol and on sea. The swimming pool is pleasant especially for children.
Sozopol is very interesting for beaches (Kavatzite is beautiful, probably the best beach in Bulgaria) and for its old town.
To go to the beaches it is necessary take the car.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review it is great to see your family had a lovely holiday in our apartment and enjoyed Sozopol.
The old and new town beaches are approximately 20 minutes walk away and I agree transport can be more convenient when you have small children especially for the return journey, but rather than the exspense of a car we tend to use local taxis (contacts\numbers supplied in our information book) as they are very cheap.
I am glad you visited Kravatzite beach we agree it is very beautiful, we always visit many times during our own family holidays.
Many thanks Ian & Tracey Bell.
Wonderfully relaxing holiday

We had a lovely time at these apartments last week. The property was well equipped for a relaxing family holiday and very clean and tidy. The booking of the apartment was very easy and all the info that we were given was most useful.
Our 7 year old loved the pool and he is already asking to go back next year!
The beach was lovely, beautiful and sandy and within easy reach. We didn't hire a car so only really saw Sozopol, which we loved. We did walk into the old town on a couple of occasions which was wonderful with its cobbled streets and old buildings. We went to The Windmill restaurant on 2 occasions, which served fantastic Bulgarian food and was very reasonably priced.
All in all we have had a great time in a beautiful place, great value for money and excellent weather, what more could you ask for!!
We are going to be planning a return trip for next year.

Nice apartments

I totally agree with the other postings, the apartment and the complex is of a very high standard. The apartment very spacious with everything you could want for a self catering holiday except an oven. The quality of the furniture etc is excellent and the view tops it all off. The beaches and the town are a fair walk from the apartments but worthwhile. The value for money is still good in Bulgaria at the moment. This is the second time we have been to Sozopol this year, the weather was poor in July which we were informed was very unusual, we stayed from the 13/9 for two weeks and the weather was good. The only down side was the fact that the restaraunts in what is known as the strip start to close down on about the 12/9 and nearly all are closed by the 20/9. The strip was like a ghost town and not as nice as it was when everything was open. I would go between the first week of June when it starts opening and be home by the 12/9 if you want a lot of choice. I would definetly go to these apartments and resort again but within the time span outlined above. The booking and arrangements were very easy to make and I would like to thank Ian for this and for letting us use the apartment,

Owner's Response: Thank you for the time you have spent preparing your review it is very much appreciated.
With regards to the season ending so soon in September it is a real shame as the weather is still good, we had the same situation in early May when the temperature was great (20-25 degrees every day), most of the restaurants were not open, although we still found more than enough open in the old town. I am afraid it must be the Bulgarian culture as they don't know how great Sozopol is and insist on making the season far shorter than they need too. Hopfully they will see the errors of their ways and lengthen the season in the future.
The microwave doubles up as a oven , we will ensure this is explained in our welcome book for future visitors.
I hope you visit again soon, Kind regards Ian & Tracey.
