Villanana is large detached and well furnished. The studio is attached and accessed directly from the main villa. Everything provided to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Views are stunning and the villa is set in a prime location close to beautiful beaches and calm blue seas. The gardens are spacious with planted areas, patios and shade. Sleep 11. 3 bedrooms in the main villa, a bathroom and shower room. The studio has a twin bedroom plus twin beds in the main room and shower room. Featuring a large private pool, sunbeds, many balconies, patios, English books, games, satellite TV/DVD player you may find it hard to leave to explore the island! Restaurants and the main hotel is within walking distance with meals, drinks bar facilities and some entertainments. Broadband is also available for a small charge if you couldn't leave your laptop at home! Local shops cater for most needs-walk/ taxi (inexpensive) Remla (main town) for banks, shops, ATM's and weekly Market.
The property has a wrap around upstairs balcony, patio leading from the kitchen and patio overlooking and surrounding the pool area. Additionally the villa has a half dome in the pool area and palm trees providing shade. All patio areas have tables/chairs/sun loungers for relaxing/eating al fresco and set in a walled garden.The villa is equipped to a high standard with well equipped kitchen, American style fridge/freezer dispensing ice cubes, digital electric hob unit and wall oven.The villa has the benefit of electric blinds (except studio) and mosquito blinds throughout.The large outdoor pool has a deep end (6foot) with ladder and shallow end with steps. Short walk to beaches with safe swimming. Welcome packs available to order.Transfer bookings or details available. Flights Sfax: Orly France/ Germany and other European countries: to port for ferry 15 mins (ferry crossing 1hour).

Bedroom 1 (family room) and bedroom 2 are located upstairs with access to a family bathroom with corner bath and shower over. Bedrooms 3 is downstairs with adjacent shower/toilet. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are in the studio accessed directly though a connecting door. Bedroom 4 is a separate twin room and 5 an occasional bedroom in the main area. Equipped with some toys books and games the studio rooms have traditionally been used for children. All windows (villa and studio) are fitted with fly/mosquito screens (pull down as required) this means fresh air through without the worry of any insects. Electric blinds are fitted throughout the villa with the exception of the studio where curtains are fitted. All bedrooms/bathrooms have marble tiling to floor areas. All rooms are light and airy equipped with clothes hangers, fans, bed linen, duvets, pillows and storage. Portable heaters and blankets are available for cooler winter nights.The villa was built in 2006/7 and is therefore in very good order. |

recommended Lying 18miles and 1hr by ferry from Sfax on the Tunisian mainland are the serene and beautiful islands of Kerkennah. The Islands are surrounded by tranquil safe waters and covered with date palms, and lay quietly undiscovered and relatively unchanged by time. Enjoy the quiet pace, warm welcome and local traditions. Watch the fisherman landing their catch or take a trip with them. Eat the fresh seafood at the local hotel (walking distance) or at the handful of restaurants. Visit the ancient fort of el-hassah or enjoy walking, birdwatching, swimming or relaxing on the local sandy beaches. Enjoy the stunning views, amazing sunsets and pool.Visit Sfax by ferry and explore the ancient Medina and markets and shop for bargains. Shops are found in the local village and the main island market town of Remla. The villa has stunning balcony views and is close to the sea and beaches and the local hotel which has many facilities.
