Our 3 bedroom house includes open plan kitchen/lounge, 2 bathrooms, covered and open terraces. The spacious garden provides shady areas with vine-covered canopies. An ideal house for families or groups to friends to share and explore the stunning region.
Cadiar 20 minutes drive away has all amenities. There are two excellent pools within 10 minutes drive of the house. El Cercado is a restaurant/bar and public access family pool. The public pool at Mecia Bombaron nearby is excellent value and popular with locals. The nearest beaches at La Rabita are 1 hours drive.

recommended For walkers, we are situated on the GR7 Long distance footpath - ideal for an overnight stp between Yegen and Berchules or Cadiar. For longer stays, a car is recommended. |

Coast/Beach The Costa Tropical is one hours drive away, with some good beaches. Cabo de Gata is an area of outstanding natural beauty just east of Almeria, 2 hours drive away. There are two excellent local swimming pools 15 minutes drive from our house. Both welcome families (with paddling pools) and have cafe/bar facilities. Skiing There is good skiing at the Sol y Nieve resort near Granada.

Travel
Granada 1.5 hours, Almeria 2 hours, Malaga 3 hours. Hire car is recommended and available form all the airports. There is a public bus from Malaga and Almeria but it takes all day.
Distances
Granada 1.5 hours. The Costa Tropical 1 hour. Las High Alpujarras Villages 10 mins - 1 hour. The Sierra Nevada National Park 30 mins (4 x 4 vehicle required).
