Do some celebrity spotting in this area ! Shad Thames is breathtaking. You have a choice of walking home on the South Bank River Path or Shad Thames Street Path. I have put pictures of both on this advert. The River Path gives an amazing view of the city (St Paul's/"The Gherkin" /Tower Bridge) and to the East Canary Wharf (our mini Mannhatten!) Stunning by day, breathtaking by night. When London was a busy port, this was a major warehouse storage area, and the buildings (now most apartments and restaurants) are listed which means they can't be altered or knocked down so they all keep their original signs (Cinnamon Wharf etc) the streets are cobbled and steeped in history. It's a real desirable area (or DesRes as they say!) having views of both the Tower, the Bridge and the City, plus the skyscraper skyline to the east. Everyone wants to be here. Do not miss this opportunity ! But don't take my word for it...Put Shad Thames in any search engine and be amazed !

The duvets covers and pillow covers are 100% Egyptian cotton. The pillows are very comfortable "memory foam" spring back. There is also a very comfortable warm, duck feather matress topper. The extra two single guest beds are "z" beds. |

The perfect London pad!
We weren't expecting much in London as we have stayed in hotels before and got an anonymous airless box for a lot of money. We are never staying in hotels again! This was so much better. Not just the charming comfy flat and the stunning view but the level of hospitality and extra touches really made our stay special. Thank you Karen for everything.
