Description

"Villa Dewata I" is set in a quiet compound less than 100 meters from the main road in the center of Basangkasa, the area between Legian/Seminyak and The Oberoi. If required, this villa and the adjacent "Villa Dewata II" can be easily combined to accommodate up to 18 guests!

Many interesting shops are right on the main road near the villa and it's about 1km to the beach. Only a few minutes by car bring you to an increasing number of trendy restaurants such as Kafe Warisan, Ku de Ta, Hu'u, The Living Room, Ultimo, La Luciola, Trattoria, Mykonos, Kuni's, etc.

This beautiful villa has an elegant simplistic design with a roof covered with wooden shingles. There are 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a large air-conditioned TV lounge and a spacious dining and living area perfect for entertaining guests. The adjacent open pantry is equipped with a toaster, gas cooker and refrigerator, and another stove and refrigerator as well as electric appliances such as a microwave oven, steamer, blender, etc. can be found in the adjacent kitchen.

Large folding glass doors in the living/dining room open up on two sides to the garden with many tropical plants and the swimming pool, and ceiling fans provide additional ventilation if required. Furnishings include a dining table for 8 guests and comfortable sofas. Next to the swimming pool two spacious "Bales" (gazebos); one with comfortable sofas, the other with large day beds.

All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the two front bedrooms have windows and glass doors opening up to the garden and swimming pool. All bedrooms have king-size beds and an additional day bed. The en-suite bathrooms of the two bedrooms facing the swimming pool have sinks and soaking bath tubs large enough for two, the other two en-suite bathrooms have only a sink and showers.

The 42 inch/110 cm SONY TV with surround-sound system in the air-conditioned TV lounge next to the dining area is connected to a DVD player and a cable TV system to receive over 55 international news programs, sports and movie channels, and there is a stereo system with tape deck and CD player in the dining/living room as well as a direct IDD telephone line and a fax machine. A personal electronic safe is installed in all bedrooms.

The full-time house staff speaks good English and includes a trained cook to prepare a range of delicious Indonesian and Western meals, house boys, gardeners, night watchmen and a villa manager. The staff quarters (with their own bathroom and kitchen) are located in an adjacent building but outside the walled villa garden to allow guests complete privacy when desired.

Your personal Butler will take care of all your arrangements from planning meals, serving your afternoon tea, and arranging parties in your villa to visiting attractions, going shopping or organizing other activities and is available around the clock.
