Located within the Cairngorms National Park it is surrounded by some of Scotland's most breath-taking scenery and in an area where there is a huge range of outdoor activities available.
Close to Loch Garten with its famous Ospreys, and nestled between the RSPB Abernethy Nature Reserve and the River Spey, it is an ideal base from which to walk, cycle, fish, wildlife or bird watch, explore, or simply relax and enjoy the superb panoramic views over the Spey Valley.

Travelling north from Perth, leave the A9 just north of Aviemore at the Garnish junction signposted Grantown on Spey and Elgin. At the first junction turn left and follow the A95 towards Grantown-on-Spey for approx 6 miles until the right hand turning signposted Boat of Garten. Drive through the village, past the station on your left, and continue along and left under the railway bridge and carry on, crossing the River Spey beside the Boat of Garten Golf Club. At the next ‘T’ junction, turn left on to the B970 Nethybridge road for approx 2 miles and Easter Cullachie Steading is on the left hand side.
