Hawthorn Cottage is a luxurious holiday cottage situated near the coastal village of Coldingham, in the Scottish Borders
Coldingham is a historic village close to St Abbs and Eyemouth, in Berwickshire. It boasts an award winning blue flag beach and is a popular holiday location.
There are many visitor attractions and things to see and do in the area including diving, surfing, walking, fishing and golf.
Our cottage is situated around 2.5 miles from the coastal village of Coldingham, in the Scottish Borders.
The cottage is a recent barn conversion and was completed in 2009. It has high quality fixtures and fittings with a modern designer kitchen and bathroom.
It is spacious and comfortably sleeps four people with one double bedroom and a twin bedroom. A cot, highchair and other baby equipment is available on request.
The kitchen is large and boasts an integrated dishwasher, a washing machine, fridge with icebox and an electric oven with touch control hob and extractor. There is a large supply of utensils, crockery and glassware. A coffee making machine is also available.
The living room is bright and spacious with a leather suite, 28" TV, DVD player, Freeview and stereo. There is a selection of DVDs and books. Patio doors from the living room lead to the patio area and garden. The bathroom is modern with a shower over bath. All linen, electricity and oil are inclusive. The cottage is fully double glazed, well insulated and is very cosy with oil central heating. Outside there is a large drive, patio area and large garden. We are happy to accept well behaved pets.
All weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday with an entry time of after 4pm and exit time prior to 10am. Short breaks are also available, please contact us for details.

Booking Conditions 1. All weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless specified. Arrivals should be after 4pm on the day of arrival, and departure should be by 10:00 on the day of departure. Different times can possibly be arranged on request. 2. A deposit of £150 is payable on booking with the balance due four weeks prior to the holiday. 3. We reserve the right to relet the cottage if any amounts due are not paid within the agreed time. 4. Please advise us of any cancellation of your booking as soon as possible. We will try to relet the dates if possible but if we are unable to do this the balance and deposit will be forfeited. 5. The cottage is let as holiday accommodation only. 6. In case of an emergency we reserve the right to access to the cottage at any time during the rental period. 7. The cottage should not be sublet and bookings should not be transferred. 8. The cottage is only let to the number of people advised when booking. The maximum occupancy of the cottage must not be exceeded. Any extra people maybe charged or asked to leave at the owners discretion. 9. No responsibility is accepted by the proprietor for any accident or mishap to persons or property whilst on or at the premises, or whilst engaged in any activity there from, or any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever. 10. Occasional damage or breakage may occur. We would appreciate if this happens that you tell us as soon as convenient. 11. The cottage should be left as you found it on arrival. Any excessive cleaning will incur a surcharge of at least £30. 12. We welcome well behaved pets although all dogs must be under control at all times and pets should not be allowed in the bedrooms. We make an extra charge of £15 per week for pets to cover extra cleaning. 13. All bed linen, towels, heating oil and electrics are included in the price.
