Melrose is situated in the heart of the Scottish Borders and is an excellent base for exploring all the vistor attractions. Tweed Rig is a convenient location for many outdoor activities, such as golfing, mountain biking, hill walking, fishing etc. Edinburgh is a pleasant one hour drive from Melrose making Tweed Rig suitable for city events and attractions. There are two fantastic restaurants in the village and a walk across the River Tweed by a footbridge, takes you into Melrose which has a superb selection of bistros/restaurants/cafes etc.
