The condo has an eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom with king-size bed, second bedroom with 2 twin beds, 2 bathrooms, vanity/dressing area, walk-in closet and screened in lanai with a wonderful view over the golf course.
There are 2 TVs, a VCR, a DVD and CD player, and full size washer and dryer. There's also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
This professionally furnished unit on the 3rd floor of a modern 3-story building has cathedral ceilings that make it feel even larger.
Amenities include a challenging Arthur Hills designed golf course, heated swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, gourmet dining room, lounge, pro shop, fitness center with sauna, driving range and practice greens. Golf membership included (fees for membership transfer, golf carts and nominal green fees).
The world's whitest, softest, sandiest beach, Siesta Key, is within a short drive, as are dozens of excellent restaurants and fabulous shopping. Sarasota is also famous for its theatres, a ballet company, a symphony orchestra and the John Ringling Art and Circus Museums.
Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club is a gated community with a challenging Arthur Hills designed 18 hole golf course, community swimming pools, Har-tru tennis courts and a well equipped fitness center. Our large clubhouse has a full service restaurant, grill room and pro shop. Theme parties are held throughout the year. Other activities include Bridge, Euchre, Mahjongg, etc. In addition to golf and tennis, walking, jogging and bicycling are favorite ways our members maintain and improve their life and fitness. Shopping and a myriad of restaurants that will suit anyones palate are conveniently close by.
Stoneybrook is located in Sarasota on the Southwest coast of Florida midway between Tampa and Ft. Meyers. This area is known as the SunCoast. Our owners have a choice of International airports in Tampa, Fort Meyers or Sarasota all which are within a one hour drive. Siesta Key beach is a 10 minute drive from our front gate and is rated the second best beach in the United States.
Among the many attractions of Sarasota are its proximity to the arts. The famous Ringling Museum of Art is here. Sarasota has its own opera company, its own symphony and its own ballet company. In addition there is the Van Wezel performing arts center where world class entertainment and Broadway musicals are regularly scheduled. We also are blessed with several community theaters and the Asolo Theater where dramatic performances are the norm.
Disney World is an approximate two-hour drive, while Busch Gardens is about a one-hour drive.
Stoneybrook is the best of Sarasota.
