Sunset Villa is located just 5 minutes walk from the calm horseshoe bay of Sao Martinho de Porto. Quiet and peaceful, yet just 15 minutes drive from the fishing town of Nazare, the Villa provides the perfect base for families wishing to explore the area or golfers who require a pleasant base from where to enjoy the 3 wonderful golf clubs in the area.
A local market which provides fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread and fresh fish is just two minutes walk from the property.
The Villa benefits from its own pool with a shallow end for children and a garden shower.
The spacious lounge area looks directly on to the garden and barbeque area which has seating for 12 people on the patio.
There is an en suite bedroom downstairs which is ideal for older members of the family.
Alcobaca, Obidos and Caldas da Rainha have many banks, restaurants, bistros, shops, markets for fruit/vegetables and antiques. Alcobaca region can be characterised by its rich flavoured gastronomy, its ceramics and potteries and also by its cut glass crystal.Visitors can also find beaches like S.Martinho do Porto, a charming perfect bay for water sports, golden sandy beaches and others alongside the historical Leiria's Pinewood.
From the peaks of the Candeeiros Mountain, a natural belvedere, admire the whole municipality and discover its natural wonders and man made typical loose stone fiels enclosures. Obidos uses the town and its walls as an open theatre and has become famous for its productions and festivals. Peniche has an old and new town as well as an aqua park with slides and swimming pools, restaurants and clubs. A visit to Nazare and Fatima would give a good insight into the culture and history of the region.
There are many outdoor activities you can enjoy in this region - horse riding, water sports, canoeing, pot holing, hiking, cycling, golf and go carting (located at Bombarral), mountain biking. You can visit Benfica football Stadium, or visit the city of Lisbon for sightseeing, and take in shopping in the Coimbro shopping centre.
