The apartment is brand new built just last year. It has lovely views on to the mountains. The building which is on the edge of the village of Dienten is ski in ski out, has its own off-road parking, ski-storage room and sauna. The centre of town is about 10 minutes walk away and contains both restaurants and shops. A local bus service connects the village to the larger town of Bischopshofen which has a railway station. The location is ideal for an active family holiday. The location is also excellent for walking in the summer with a great variety of routes through the Alps which can be taken from the front door with no need to drive anywhere.
The whole flat is very light and bright with excellent views out onto the surrounding mountains and is an excellent base for walking or skiing holidays.

The apartment is on the first floor with lift access.

Three hours by car from the Italian coast line.
Skiing
The building in which the apartment is situated is right on the slopes so it is a true ski-in, ski-out experience.
The loal ski area is Hockoning which is part of the huge Ski amad? The same pass will cover you for the whole of Ski amad which comprises not only 5 skiing regions with 860 kms of pistes, but also 5 independent and individual holiday regions with 25 resorts.
Dienten itself has a choice of ski-hire shops and a new ski-lift which was refurbished and will be opening for the 2011-2012 winter season.
Travel
Dienten is only 50 minute drive from Salzburg airport. It can also be accessed from Innsbruck which will take slightly longer. The building has its own off road-parking if you come by car (but space is limited to one per apartment).
If you are not travelling by car, there is a bus connection from Bishopshofen which itself is has a railway station.
Distances
The centre of Dienten is about 10 minutes on foot.
The nearest large town is Bischopshofen which takes 20-30 minutes by car. Zell am See, which has a beautiful lake, is about 30-40 minute drive.
Further details
Dienten has a number of good restaurants, a supermarket and a number of other shops including a bakery which produces fresh bread daily. Most of the shops close on Sunday so, stock up on Saturday.
Both Zell am See and Bishopshofen have a wider range of shops to choose from.
