Description

Blow Hole villa gets its name from the blow hole at the water's edge that regularly spurts the incoming Caribbean Sea into the air like a small geyser. The water pours into a sea pond into which you can safely climb and enjoy the salt water shower. Steps lead from the sea pond into the sea, where Danny can help with spectacular snorkeling. All the living and sleeping spaces of the villa afford views of the beautiful Caribbean.

The large free-from swimming pool is constructed in two sections. A small part extends under the villa to provide protection from the sun and is ideal for children or people who want to enjoy a protected area for swimming or lounging. The main section of the pool and deck are in full sun and extend almost to the water's edge.

Blow Hole is the ideal location for the people looking for a truly relaxing and romantic spot to get away from the cares of the world.

The villa is fully staffed with a cook, housekeeper/laundress, and groundskeeper/poolman/driver. The staff are all local and can help plan any activiites you might want, including getting off the beaten path and seeing the real Jamaica. Our driver Danny, prides himself on his back country tours, and our previous guests rave that that is one of thier favorite memories to take home with them.

Bedrooms	3 bedrooms, sleeps 10 max. All bedrooms have lock drawers and mini refrigerators. We do have two single beds which can be moved into different rooms to accomodate small children or single parties to sleep a total of 10 persons. The master bedroom has a king bed and a single, the middle bedroom has a queen bed and a single, and the third bedroon has a a double and a queen bed.

On-site facilities

Onsite facilities	We have a natural sea pond that varies with the weather, never reaching more than about 3-4 feet. It is great for relaxing, swimming, and catching the sea spray. There is access to the sea for snorkeling and diving from steps leading from the sea pond. We have snorkeling equipment on site, and for certified divers a divemaster will deliver dive equipment to the villa. Our guests that dive have said that it is some of the best diving they have ever expierienced, with crystal clear water ranging from 30-90 feet, a variety of marine life and and coral formations, all right outside your front door. No need for a long boat ride, or scheduling, you can get up and dive first thing in the morning or last thing at night...what ever you want, Fantastic! Car required?	Recommended We are about a 2 hr. car ride from the airport, and can arrange transportation for you. We are about 20 minutes from Ocho Rios for shopping in the crafts market, the attractions of Dunns River Falls, and Dolphin Cove. The closest beach, Bond, James Bond, is a 5 min car ride from the villa, Port Maria, a lovely town also has a nice beach and is about 15 minutes from the villa.

Directions

The airport of Kingston may look closest, but is not a tourist friendly airport, and the road from there is not as good as the road from Montego Bay so the drive will actually take at least as long if not longer. Unless you come to Jamaica frequently and are familiar with Kingston, I wouldn't attempt to go that route.
