This spacious 3 bedroom house is set in a walled courtyard and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. There are two double bedrooms one on the ground floor leading out onto the courtyard, the other is on the upper floor with some nice views of the dentelle hills. There is also a single bedroom on the upper floor. The open plan living/dining area is situated on the first floor with a fully equipped modern kitchen & a large dining table which seats up to eight people. There is a bathroom/toilet situated on the ground & upper floor. The house is just a short stroll to all the amenities in the village eg bar/cafe, boulangerie, boucherie, mini market & banking facilities.
Sablet is in the heart of the cote du Rhone region of France. There are an abundance of wine caves offering tastings & wine tours are available on request. The village is set at the foot of the Dentelle hills & the surrounding views are spectacular. During spring,summer & Autumn there are numerous festivals ranging from the international book festival to Jazz concerts among the vines. There are local Provencal markets on in surrounding villages every day offering fresh local produce. You don't have to travel far on beautiful scenic roads to discover lavender fields, rivers & gorges. The area is also very popular with cyclists as Mont Ventoux is close by. Sablet is an ideal location to explore the local area & to experience real French village life. Everything you need for daily living can be found in the village. The nearest town is Vaison la Romain which has plenty of cafes & restaurants. It's also a town of great historical interest with an impressive collection of roman ruins.
