The house is a very special beachfront property recently modernised and constantly maintained to an exceptionally high standard. With sunny position with South and West aspects and glorious uninterrupted 180 degree sea views and direct beach access.
The property benefits from the very spacious open plan living area with two separate seating zones, one cosy area around a wood burning stove and the other enjoying the large bay opening onto the terrace. There is also a large wrap around teak deck with outdoor shower, dining area for eight, BBQ and sprawling gardens well stocked with trees, flowering shrubs, flowers and herbs maintained by local gardener.
This unspoiled island with 250 population and living mainly from agriculture and fishing, is the ultimate escape for those seeking peace and tranquillity. There are shops, small restaurants and bicycle hire plus plentiful supply of locally caught fresh fish, seafood and locally grown vegetables. The pommes de terre de l'Ile de Batz are sold as a marque in Paris.
The property also boasts its exceedingly high standard of comfort and cleanliness. This is not a beach shack but a very comfortable and exceptionally stylish house on a beach. It enjoys the very best location on the island with amazing views from all windows and almost unique direct access to a lovely sandy beach.
The island is totally unsuited to wheelchairs. It has a large well maintained garden on three sides of the property with a wrap around deck enjoying unrestricted views. The outdoors also have a dining table with eight chairs, BBQ, and two sun loungers.
The beaches around the area has a wonderful clean, clear water with massive eight metre tides. The two beaches are also accessible, one with 50 metres at end of garden and the second, Farah Dibah, at other end of garden plus is 100 metres walk along the harbour jetty. This is ideal as one beach is always sheltered from the wind.
