The elegant double bedroom has a queen size bed, and there is a single bed in the second bedroom. The bathroom has a hand held shower with the bathtub. There is a small but well equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, clothes washer and dishwasher. There is air conditioning. The Aventine Hill has on one side of it vistas over the Tiber and there’s no better place for this panoramic view than at the Parco degli Aranci, a couple of minutes walk away. Walk down to the Tiber and you are at Bocca della Verita and one of the best preserved Roman temples still standing (Temple to Hercules Victor). On the other side of the Aventine Hill lies the Circus Maximus and beyond that the Foro Romano and from there the Palatine with the legendary home of the she-wolf that suckled the twins Romulus and Remus. If you want transport, just two minutes walk is a bus stop which will connect you to Rome’s good transport system. The nearest metro is at Circo Massimo. If you have a car there is ample on-street parking in the area.
