Beautifully designed this romantic villa has a partly shaded panoramic terrace, with quality furnishings which stretches across the house. Double steps lead to the large enclosed garden & pool area with sunbeds, shower & parasol. A contemporary kitchen is equipped to an exceptionally high standard. The stylish lounge features a stone fireplace; a beautiful spiral marble staircase leads to two double bedrooms and a bathroom. A twin bedroom and shower room are downstairs. Air con to living and bedrooms. All the furnishings have been carefully chosen for comfort and style and we believe we have created something vey special. NOTE: A deposit of 25% will be required at the time of booking. Please ensure that the villa is available before booking flights. We will hold the Villa for upto 3 days to allow for booking of flights etc. We can provide details of local car hire or taxis if required. Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. We reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled if payment is not received by this time. A security deposit of £250.00 is required with the final payment. Normal use of electricity, including air con is included in the price, however meter readings will be taken and excessive usage will be charged for and deducted from the security deposit. The security deposit will be returned once the property has been inspected and is found in to be in good condition. I am sorry but we do not accept bookings from groups under the age of 25. Please note that the pool is not available between November and early April.

Each bedroom has superb seaviews and furnished balcany or Terrace. They are very attractively presented with good quality beds and bedding. 4.5 tog quilts are provided although there is also a choice of just a sheet and a throw. A single waterproof mattress protector is located in the twin bedroom. There is a travel cot with sheets provided. Each bedroom has plenty of storage in both the built in wardrobes and extra chests of drawers, bedside cupboards etc. There is a safe provided for peace of mind and security. All windows have, insect screens, shutters as well as curtains and are double glazed. Each bedroom has a remote control air conditioning unit, clock radio, hairdryer, mosquito repellant, adapters and two bedside lights. |

Directions
The villa is only 800 meters on a gentle hill from the centre of Gennadi, a year round friendly Greek village. It has a good selection of bars and tavernas. There are supermarkets, a bakery, greengrocer, pharmacy, car and bike hire and other local shops. The wide bay has a long stretch of quiet beach with tavernas. There is a bus serving the village. Being in the unspoilt south of the Island the village is ideally located for touring or just visiting the abundance of pretty bays and beaches. The road behind the Gennadi leads to the other side of the Island with its quaint villages and mountains complete with stunning views of aqua blue sea. Lindos is a 20 minute drive with the added facilities of Lardos, Pefkos, Glistra beach and Kiotari even closer. Prasonissi, the renowned wind water sports beach with equipment hire is 25 kms away. There is a golf course at Afandou - 45 km. Wonderful historic Rhodes Town is 67km and an easy drive taking approx 1 hour

Villa Lorriana.
Just got back from Villa Lorrianna - I really can't begin to explain how beautiful it is. We wanted a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a lovely place and that's exactly what we got and so much more besides. The owners of the villa really have thought of everything - it's a real home from home. The villa is beautiful, it has been tastefully decorated -it's obviously a much loved second home not just a business - the attention to detail is great.
Callum and Gayle who look after the villa are lovely. Friendly and helpful - we were even sent a text to ask us would it be convenient for them to do the mid-stay clean at a particular time!! Their local knowldege meant they were able to recommend tavernas in out of the way places which was nice.
The setting of the villa is gorgeous - there is an immediate neighbour but the positioning of the houses and pool mean that it doesn't feel too overlooked. The garden is full of flowers and quirky little features - pots and driftwood and stones that just add that extra something. Its on the side of a hill - overlooking the sea and because it is quite high up it gets a lovely breeze - very welcome in the heat of August!
The village of Gennadi is unspoilt. It has a couple of tavernas - we had some great meals in Mama's Kitchen and there is a supermarket and bakery just 2 minutes from the house. It feels Greek - bustly and busy but on a small scale - friendly Greek people just going about their business.
Lindos is only 20 minutes away by car and the beach at Prassonisis is about the same distance in the opposite direction - both places to visit. There are also loads of good beaches - some busy with tavernas and activities, others very quiet and beautiful.
I have stayed in a lot of villas in different parts of Greece and can genuinely say this one is the best I have been to.
Everything about the enquiry and booking and the information we needed before setting off was efficient and friendly even down to the details like the directions of how to find it which were precise and clear. Thank you Bridget - we didn't take a single wrong turn!
I would recommend Villa Lorriana to anyone who is looking for a holiday in "real" Greece and who wants to be a bit off the beaten track. It really is lovely. Needless to say, we didnt want to come home.

Lovely Lorriana.
What a lovely holiday we had in Rhodes made all the more enjoyable by our stay at the beautiful Villa Lorriana.
We had everything we needed and more to make our stay very comfortable indeed.The setting of the villa is truly magnificent,we spent every evening on the balcony stargazing and waiting for the red moon to appear. The romantic ambience must have rubbed off onto my youngest daughters partner as we left planning a wedding following a proposal of marriage over dinner in Lindos.
A truly perfect finish to a truly perfect holiday.
Thank you so much for the excellent holiday home that you provided for us, I would not hesitate in recommending Villa Lorriana to anyone looking for a special place to stay located in a Greek village where the tourist is in the minority.

This truly is a luxury villa.Styishly furnished and well equipped for all your holiday needs. The location gives this property stunning views,is very peaceful, yet just a short walk from the village. Gennadi is still unspoilt by tourism, and retains all it's Greek charm. For a relaxed holiday in Greece you can't do better.

The pictures of this villa do not do it justice. I have stayed in many villas and this is by far the best equipped (the only thing missing being a dishwasher but even doing the dishes was not a chore as it was a reason to get out of the sun for a bit !).The uninterrupted view to the sea is a delight. The owners have thought of everything too numerous to mention. The villa was spotless and the garden and pool well cared for. Access from the village is a bit bumpy as the road is unmade but the upside of this is the total privacy we had. The only thing wrong was that we were so happy there it was an effort to make ourselves go out. From 4 very happy 50 somethings going on 30.

My partner and I took both our mothers on holiday to the villa last summer. We stayed for a week and had a brilliant, relaxing time. The villa is equipped to a very high, luxury specification. Exceptional. It looks just like the pictures shown on this website. My mum has very high standards and the villa met them all!
The villa is quite remote and a 5-10 minute walk down a dirt track to the small village of Gennadi. The beach is around a 20-30 minute walk, past the village, down a gentle hill. A hire car is a must. There was some construction work being undertaken whilst we were there in July 2008. It was quite far away and did not disturb us.
We were slightly worried about the heat in Rhodes, but found there is a gentle breeze at the villa and the air conditioning is wonderful.
I recommend the villa with hestitation. Perfect.
