Kerstin 4 is a spacious 79m2 first floor apartment offering beautiful views of the mountains and quaint village of Rauris. Luxuriously furnished with a large sunny balcony and free Wi-Fi internet access. Sleeps 6-8 people.
Stunning views of the quaint town and mountains and is furnished to a very high standard. With solid oak heated flooring throughout, it comprises; 3 double bedrooms, Bedroom 1 is a king-size with en-suite shower room, with shower, sink & WC. Bedroom 2 is a double room and Bedroom 3 is a twin room (also with foam chair-bed for 3 children wishing to sleep together). There is a family bathroom with twin sinks, WC, bath with shower fitments, and large heated towel rail. There is also a constant supply of hot water.
The large, open-plan, dining-kitchen and living space has an ‘extending’ solid oak dining table and seats 8 comfortably. Large french windows and doors fold open onto a generous sunny balcony. It also has a large double sofa bed and could be used as a fourth bedroom, if needed.
There is a lockable, heated ski and boot room in the cellar and underground parking for one vehicle. All residents have access to the Free on-site spa & bar which you can get to underground. We can also help to arrange; transfers from the airport direct to the door, ski rental/passes and ski school, so you don't waste any time getting onto the slopes!

Rauris is the ideal location for year round outdoor activities and relaxation. It is an adventure sport centre, including skiing, hiking, rafting, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, ice and rock climbing and 46km of groomed cross-country piste.
The Rauris valley has two of the biggest glaciers in Austria, both a mecca for ski-touring. Footpaths and hiking trails lead directly into the countryside through the “Rauriser Urwald” – a primal forest scattered with 80 secluded lakes. In the evening you can also experience the romance of a horse-drawn sleigh ride across crisp, white snows, or the excitement of a moonlight tobogganing adventure.
The Schönblick Mountain Resort and Spa, located in this beautiful valley, is a scenic and family friendly resort village with enchanting authenticity. It is located on the edge of the medieval gold mining town, and just a couple of minutes walk away is the pedestrianised centre full of shops, bars and restaurants. The main gondola station and chairlift for the expanding Rauris ski area lie 150 metres away, along with access to the vast Nordic ski trails. Rauris is also linked to the Pinzgau Mountain Biking network with over 750km of trails.
There is a more than adequate array of ski pistes within Rauris, with many people returning year on year. The ski schools are some of the best in Europe and it is excellent for beginners, families and intermediates.
Some of the largest ski areas in Austria are also within a 20-40 minute drive including Kitzbuhel, Zell am See, Heiligenblut, Bad Gastein, Flachau, Saalbach, St Johann and the Kitzsteinhorn (Kaprun) Glacier, which provides skiing 365 days a year! It is possible to ski in a different resort every day.

MOUNTAIN HEAVEN
The luxury apartment of KERSTIN 4 has everything you could wish for,spacious light rooms that are tastefully decorated and equiped to a very high standard, with excellent furnishings and furniture, and nearly all rooms having stunning mountain views.
Just a five minute flat walk from Kerstin 4 is the beautiful village of Rauris,where you have an abundance of shops/restaurants/bars/etc.and a stunning old church you must visit.
We have holidayed at Kerstin 4 many times over the last 3 years ,since it was built ,and stayed at different seasons which all bring their own beauty.
The range of activities on offer in the area are endless ,there are so many to choose and for all different ages, and all year round.
A holiday here would suit families with young children,groups of friends,couples of any age,and retired people who love peace and quiet.
To stay at Kerstin 4 apartment in the Hohe Tauern National Park on the Schonblick mountain resort is pure heaven.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
We first visited Kerstin 4 luxury apartment as a family in the summer of 2009. We absolutely loved the apartment, which is extremely comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished. The views of the mountains and the village from any of the windows in the apartment are superb, especially the sitting room which has windows on to the balcony which fold back. You can either relax on the balcony and view the mountains or there are any number of paths from the village where you can soon be walking in amongst them. The village itself is very quaint and pretty, ideal for families and couples alike, lots of good restaurants which serve excellent food and a variety of small shops. There are also two very good Supermarkets in the village if you prefer to eat in the Apartment. The Church in the centre of the village is very beautiful and is definitely worth a visit. We have since spent two more holidays at Kerstin 4, February 2010 skiing with the family and then again in the summer as a couple. Each time we had a fantastic holiday and will most certainly be returning in the future.
Skiing paradise
We have stayed in Kerstin 4 in Rauris four times now and absolutely love it. Rauris is an ideal place for families. The slopes are gentle and never overcrowded. The supermarkets, shops and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away from the apartment. Kerstin 4 is beautifully decorated with an amazing attention to detail - every possible kitchen appliance, children toys, DVDs, books, wireless internet - all there.
We have stayed in the partment with friends who ski, but also with parents and parents in law, who don't ski, but equally enjoyed the walks around the village, tobogganing and the spa (the outdoor hot tub is a must!). We can't wait for the next winter season!!!
