5 minutes walk will take you to a clean and sandy beach. As you enter the beach, turn to your right and you will head to the Blue Flag beach - Ramsgate Main Sands. This beach has all amenities, childrens play area, cafe and shop.
Or turn left and at low tide you can walk 25 minutes on the sand to the picturesque Viking Bay in Broadstairs.
This property is also a short drive from the vast sands and stunning sunsets of Margate and the peaceful and pretty nature reserve at Pegwell Bay.
Located within easy access to picturesque Broadstairs (10 minutes drive), up and coming arty Margate (10 minutes drive), charming, traditional cinque port town of Sandwich (15 minutes drive) and historical cathedral city Canterbury (30 minutes drive).
Waitrose supermarket is 5 minutes drive away, plus independent bakers, butchers and greengrocers are in the high street and open daily. Ramsgate has the stylish Age and Sons restaurant and cafe which is Michelin recommended which also has a very sexy basement cocktail bar. Plus there is the delicious award winning Eddie Gilberts offering the freshest of fish and chips - upstairs is the cosy restaurant and downstairs the take away. Both offer a child friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Restaurants located outside of Ramsgate include the laidback, warm and welcoming Harbour cafe and the fine dining Indian Princess in Margate. Broadstairs has a classic seaside cafe 'Oscar Road' which sells fantastic crab sandwiches and sumptuous cakes. 'Foodies' can visit Quex Barn (10 minute drive) for a wide selection of local produce from local suppliers all under one roof. It also has a great restaurant open daily.
There is an out of town shopping complex 15 minutes drive away. This has a wide selection of high street stores including Marks and Spencer and Debenhams. It also has a variety of restaurants, multiplex cinema and casino.
