Podere La Pruneta is positioned on the slopes of hills that reach from the Chianti down to the Valdarno valley in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. It is surrounded by twenty-four acres of Olive trees and vines grown in the traditional way on terraces. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay in an idyllic setting with spectacular views over the Pratomania Mountains along the Arno Valley. La Pruneta is a restructured small family run farm producing excellent organic extra virgin olive oil, chianti wine, white wine, vin santo, olive oil, soap and honey. There are two apartments, Masacco and Michelangelo set in an old building with all its original features including wooden beamed ceilings. The apartments are studios with a kitchen-living-sleeping area and a separate marble tiled bathroom.

An old farmhouse surrounded by olive trees in the middle of Tuscany offers two self contained apartments for rent. Michelangelo apartment comprises of a double bed can be two singles with space for a further single bed. It also has a kitchen and dining area as well as a separate marble tiled bathroom with shower. The apartment is tastefully decorated with antique beds and furniture using the original features including the wooden beamed ceiling. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are washing facilities available. Guests own private stairs outside lead to their own private terrace where there are chairs, loungers a table and a sun canopy flanked by lavender with a stunning view. A peaceful place where guests can relax on their own or with their family (a connecting door can be opened to Massacio apartment) and a special rate if offered for both apartments. A continental breakfast is provided and guests will be given a complementary jar of honey, bottle of chianti wine and olive oil from the agritourism.

The second apartment is Massacio, again a self contained apartment with antique furniture and beamed ceiling. Comprising of a double antique bed and tiled kitchen area with separate marble tiled bathroom with shower. A veranda which can be open or closed offers another room with a dining and seating area for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are washing facilities available. A staircase leads up to a private terrace with seating, tables and loungers, a sun canopy a barbecue flanked by lavender with a fabulous view out over the valley. Guests can relax on the terrace or walk out into the olive groves enjoying a wonderful peaceful stay set in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. Guests can rent this apartment on its own or if they are a family, a connecting door can be opened to join to the Michelangelo apartment for a reduced rate. A continental breakfast is provided and guests will be presented with a bottle of chianti wine, olive oil and honey from the agritourism.

Podere La Pruneta is ideally situated in the heart of Tuscany thirty kilometers from Florence, thirty kilometers from Siena and twenty-eight kilometers from Arezzo. Day trips are easy for being on the edge of Chianti means that there is a wealth of castles and old fortresses to visit with the beautiful villages of Radda in Chianti and Giaole in Chianti just up the road. There are many beautiful walks to be followed some starting right from the door. The apartments being on the edge of the National Park of Cavriglia mean that the flowers and wildlife are spectacular. Guests can take a wine tour into Chianti or sample the owners Chianti. Locally guests can go horse riding, fishing or visit hot springs. The famous shopping outlets of Prada, Gucci are half an hour away. The local village has all guests could wish for from a post office to a small supermarket and there are larger supermarkets fifteen minutes drive away. Deposit A deposit of 40% is payable via a bank transfer at the time of booking. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be sent notice confirming your payment with contact and arrival information.
Balance The balance will be due on arrival

Cancellation In the unfortunate event of you needing to cancel all or part of your holiday we will have to charge.
1) nothing if cancellation is received more than 6 weeks prior to letting
or
2) Deposit in full if cancellation is less than 6 weeks prior to letting

Arrival: Unless otherwise agreed guests can arrive after 2pm
