The development of Varandas do Lago is set in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, neighbouring Club do Ancão and Vale do Garrão. Surrounded by beautiful pine forests, the development is within easy reach of the famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, close to miles and miles of golden beaches.
Villa ‘Luar’ is a very spacious 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom villa suitable for up to 8 adults + 2 children who can be accomodated in foldaway bed & / or baby cot. The villa has fabulous indoor/outdoor living space perfect for two families sharing or several friends enjoying a sunny holiday together. There is nice grassy areas in the garden and poolside there are lots of outdoor sofa’s, sunloungers, dining tables and chairs. Importantly the villa has a securely fenced pool that makes it safer for the little ones to enjoy being outside but safely separated from the pool
There is a lovely large kitchen that has access to the outdoor entertainment area with bbq, shady terraces, grassy garden and a enormous pool that is 10 metres x 5 metres – jump in and enjoy a swim or play some pool games there is also an outdoor shower and plenty of chilling sunloungers,
The combined lounge / dining room has 5 terrace doors leading onto the outdoor area – there is a wonderful feeling of space and light, there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and chill out while on holiday. The living area also has wifi internet connection, plasma tv with SKY freeview english programs. All four spacious twin bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms and the upstairs bedrooms each have a terrace with views over to the Nature Reserve - enjoy watching the sun dip away on the horizon.
Outside
There is a large south facing (securely fenced) swimming pool for both adults and children to enjoy + sunloungers & BBQ area.
The property is located just a short drive from the Quinta Do Lago Water Sports Centre. Catering for water babies of all ages, the centre offers a terrific range of both lake and beach water sports. Windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking and rowing are available on the lake, or try a mini course in sailing, windsurfing or water skiing.
Beach-side water sports range from the challenging to the relaxing. Get your adrenalin going with high-energy sports including parasailing, water skiing and jet skiing or go a little slower on a pedalo. Family beach activities are on offer or try a power boat tour along the coastline.
