Sunset apartment is luxuriously furnished and offers open-plan spacious living accommodation throughout. The living room opens into a spacious terrace / balcony which offers a stunning sundowner, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco, and more generally spend time in the wonderful Cypriot outdoors. As it is an easily accessible ground floor apartment, it comes perfect for couples and families alike, plus the elderly or infirm. We can recommend a local supplier who can affordably rent out travel cots, highchairs, buggies for infants and all manner of extra modern conveniences.
Sunset comfortably sleeps six (Master bed, Twin Bed and Double Sofa bed), and is tucked away in the quiet Mythical Sands resort, but a pedestrian path takes you to Kapparis' Kennedy Avenue in under two minutes. Just 300m away is Firemans Beach with its crystal clear blue waters and sandy beaches. The apartment offers an ideal base for a fabulous holiday with attractions and beaches right on your doorstep, but joyfully free of the endless hassle and bustle if you stayed too close to Protaras or Ayia Napa.
The apartment benefits from a delightful shared pool, with a shallow end perfect for children, and showers, cloakrooms and changing rooms.

Reasonable use of Air Conditioning is included in the cost of your holiday. Quality Egyptian cotton bed linen, light weight duvets, bath towels, and hand towels are included. Beach towels for outside use are also available.

Our English-speaking representative will meet you within 24 hours of arrival to welcome and orientate you, and give you a briefing pack with all you need to know about the Island, and locality. The rep will be on hand to answer any questions, and remain on call throughout your stay in case of any emergencies or issues.
On request, we would be happy to arrange a breakfast pack for your first morning which might be priceless if you arrive at night. We always get one arranged when we visit, and it is such a welcome joy. Enquire for prices when booking.
Sorry, but we really prefer NOT to have pets or smoking indoors. Only those guests specified on the booking form are permitted to stay at Sunset, due to legal and insurance reasons. We otherwise encourage you to enjoy all the facilities, and feel absolutely at home - and ask if there is anything you would like attended to, to make your stay memorable. We rely on you, our guests, to take care of the apartment and utilities as you would at your own home.
Conditions
30% deposit is payable at the time of booking, and final balance 6 weeks before holiday start date. A refundable, subject to checks, breakages/ damage deposit of £150 is required with all bookings, payable before arrival and refunded after departure, less any deductions for losses, damages or breakages.
A discount is available for bookings of over 2 weeks duration and all winter long lets.

PAYMENT & BOOKING INFO:
We accept payments by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or Euros. We also accept credit cards by Paypal, but we are afraid these attract a charge of 2.5%.
To secure a booking, we require a deposit of 30% of the agreed rental price, and the balance not later than six weeks prior to the day of arrival.
Accommodation is only reserved for the persons listed on the booking. All persons including any children must be listed on the booking.
Long lets available between September and March.

We do not have internet at the apartment or the complex at present. However, there are many cafes, restaurants and pubs just a few minutes walk away right behind the apartments, on Kennedy Avenue which offer FREE WI-FI. It is therefore easy and convenient to get fast internet access from here from early mornings to late in the nights, for free. Families can choose between several day-out options including water parks, beaches, mini golf, zoos, a trip to the North, boating, viewing ruins, aquariums and much more. Next door to Kapparis is Agia Triada and the Famagusta District Sailing Club with catamarans, lasers and windsurfing. Further water sports are available across the coastal path - parasols, jet-skis, scuba diving, catamaran cruises, snorkelling. Or you can cycle or walk along the beautiful and clean beaches.

Directions
The nearest airport is Larnaca which is approximately 40 minutes away by car. Larnaca is served by British Airways, Monarch, EasyJet, Cyprus Airways, among many other airlines. We would recommend car hire to allow flexibility for exploring all the island has to offer, but this is not essential since the apartment is ideally located for all local attractions. Taxis are available at the airport 24/7, but we would be happy to arrange airport pick-ups / meet and greet for guests, from €50 one way. We can also recommend car-hire suppliers.
Pathos Airport is further afield but only a 2 hour drive on an excellent and usually free-flowing motorway. Roads in Cyprus are signposted both in Greek and English so self-drive is a joy.

Robert and Joyce had a lovely time in Kapparis, they thought your appt was excellent, very accessible for Kennedy avenue but set back enough to be private from the main strip. They thought the complex was lovely (swimming pool superb) and is ideal for a couple or family for a holiday – big thumbs up!

Very nice apartment
We enjoyed our stay in Cyprus, weather was great. The apartment was very nice, nicely appointed with all useful appliances, thank god for the Air con. The pool was very nice, except I think there were not enough sun beds when we were there, but we were ok as it was not too busy. I think Mythical sands will be a very nice complex when completed. Kellie was very helpful as a local contact.
We liked Cyprus very much ,beaches lovely around Kapparis, and some nice restaurants, we would possibly look at spending another holiday there in the future."

Your apartment is wonderful and very comfortable. We spent a great week in Cyprus which we liked very much.
A beautiful spacious apartment in an unspolit loca
A lovely apartment with everything you could wish for. We were particularly pleased to find the water cooler which saved us many trips to the supermarket to carry bottles of water. A great idea! The apartment was well situated for the local beaches although these beaches are small and you need to be there early to grab a sunbed. The best beach is Golden Coast Beach which has many sunbeds, is sandy and very safe for children. Kennedy Ave is just a couple of minutes walk away and we enjoyed many meals at Kavos Restaurant and Fariolos (go on a thurs and enjoy the Greek entertainment) Mello bar is great for a drink or a cocktail or 2! The on site swimming pool is very nice and has plenty of comfortable sun beds to relax on. All in all we had a fab time and would definately hope to return in the future.
Great apartment!
We stayed in Cyprus for 2 weeks. This is a clean and well-maintained apartment which have plenty of space - even for a family with 4 children! Beds are comfortable and there was plently of wardrobe space. The water cooler is superb! You will save a lot of money as it only cost 1 euro to fill it up. The apartment was just a minute walk from a local supermarket which was great whenever we needed something. The bigger supermarked (Orphaniedes) was a 15 minutes walk away (walking a shortcut up the road by the China House). This means you can get around the area without a car. Bus stop is only a short walk away, and taking the bus to Protaras is very convenient and safe with children. We really enjoyed being on the local, clean beaches (esp. firemans beach).
There is a nice selection of restaurants along Kennedy Avenue, and you can also order take away which is great for families with small children :)

It was wonderfu first holiday of My daughter
My daughter, myself and my girlfriend and her daughter spent 42 days in the apartment of Steven and Florence in April - May 2011 years. It was the first vacation our little princesses.
The longer we lived in this place began to appreciate the more all the charm of this town! I'll write all about it ...
The apartment was not very big but very cozy. It has everything you need and want to note that everything has been thought and all things are in place. I did something that was converted house after returning home from Cyprus.
Many thanks to Steve and Florence for helping in any matter. They did immediately and very quickly came to our rescue and thanks to them that nothing could spoil our vacation.
Apartment! It is located in the heart of the entertainment and amenities, shops, restaurants, cafes, WI-FI, car rentals and more and more. Everything is just 100 meters from the apartment and closer. It is very convenient, especially when resting with the children. The most delicious food in my opinion at the tavern, "Karas." Very tasty and homely. We went there almost every day. There are cafes and restaurants, everything you want, on your taste and desire, as well as opportunities. Concerts, live music and much more has it all - and all you need to relax.
The most beautiful, most unforgettable - it is certainly a beach! We traveled many places in Cyprus when have rented a car, but the most beautiful beach is not seen. The beach is 10-15 minutes walk with the kids. It's small, but that's the charm. The water is very clean and clear. On the shore at the height of a bench and we would go every night to see The sea. We sat, watched and admired the scenery.
We also went to 3 beaches. One of them - a beach hotel MALAMA. Yes, there they have a playground, and we went to the site so that our kids played and interacted with other kids. The other is a little further away, about 30 minutes to go. And very beautiful and near a wild beach. It is very beautiful!
The town is not big. But there live and relax wonderful people!

I recommend everyone to relax in the town, especially with children.

Excellent apartment
We really enjoied our Holiday in Cyprus from 6 to 20 Aug. The apartment is just the same listed, it is fresh and well-maintained and it is really confortable, fully accessorized. It is located in Kapparis, a quite place, but it offers all you need: supermarket at one minute walk, many restaurants, pubs, rental cars, etc. We suggest to rent the car, so you can easily go to Protaras and Aya Napa (10-15 min) for dinner or for a walk among people, sounds, clubs and bars. And most important thing, you can reach beautiful coves and beaches in Ammochostos area, if you have a car. Our favoured was Konnos Bay, about 2 km north of Cavo Greco: it's a superb, secluded beach with perfect swimming conditions especially for children, clear waters and golden sands. Regarding the beaches around Kapparis, they are nice and at 10 minutes walk, but it becomes hard if you have two baby children and with hot temperature of August!!
We have no complaints to do, the resort is very nice and we think it will be wonderful when completed with the SPA.
