Polyxenia is a luxury development situated on the edge of Pernera with its own beach cove boasting a bar, free sunbeds, safe children's play area, swimming pool and jacuzzi. There is also a selection of water sport and diving activities available nearby. Shop and bakery on site, two great restaurants on the doorstep, and many alternative bars, restaurants and supermarkets just a three minute walk away. The bus to large major supermarket runs every twenty minutes and costs about one pound. The tourist resort of Protaras is less than fifteen minutes stroll along a beautiful beach boardwalk, where you will find an even greater choice of restaurants, tavernas, shops etc and of course the wonderful Fig Tree Bay. You really don't need a car unless you want to explore the island further. Paralimni is only a five minute drive away, Agia Napa for those who crave a lively night life is only about ten minutes by car or taxi and there is a nearby water park. Larnaca airport transfer time is less than forty-five mins.

Pernera: This Cyprus holiday town although only small compared to other resorts on the island, has all you need and more to make sure you enjoy your break. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, catering for all your culinary needs. Cypriot and Greek, English, Italian and Indian tastes are well catered for and the bars all have plenty going on to entice you in and let down your hair. The atmosphere is very friendly and the town still maintains that innocence you don't find in the more 'well known' resorts. There is none of the hard sell tactics you might find in some Spanish destinations.

Protaras: Only a fifteen minute walk away, you will find a more diverse and cosmopolitan atmosphere in Protaras. It is a little more lively and has more of a commercial feel, catering for all age groups. All your well known High St restaurant chains can be found here, along with the many local establishments. You name it, you can probably find it around the town of Protaras.
