Vila Margarida is a luxury private villa rental in Praia da Luz on the lovely Algarve coast of Portugal. It is one of the best villas in the lovely small town resort, boasting great views, lovely private heated swimming pool and tennis court set in a beautiful established garden of an acre which gives a high degree of privacy. Add all this to the fact that Vila Margarida is very centrally located and only 8 minutes walk to the beach and less to many bars, restaurants and shops and you will see that this villa offers the best of both worlds, a central location and amazing privacy and facilities. The villa has 5 bedrooms, 3 double and 2 twin all but one double on the ground floor, 3 opening onto the pool terrace. There are 3 bath/shower rooms. The lounge, dining room and kitchen are on the first floor and the large first floor terrace has wonderful views to the sea and cliffs overlooking Luz Bay. Beside the pool is a cabana area with bar, BBQ, outdoor kitchen and dining area. Real poolside luxury!
Praia da Luz is a lovely seaside resort on the sunny Algarve coast, just 10 minutes drive from the larger town of Lagos. Praia da Luz has a lovely sandy beach which is gently shelving & great for families. It is backed by a car free, palm tree lined promenade which has several bars, cafes & shops. Great for a snack lunch or tea & those beach essentials!!! There is a water sports facility on the beach with pedalos, windsurfers, small dingy’s to hire as well as waterskiing & towed inflatable rides. There is also beach volleyball & some children’s swings. Praia da Luz also offers a wide range of restaurants & bars. The restaurants range from the beach bars and cafes, through small bistro type restaurants to fine dining. All are family friendly. The bars again welcome families & some run quiz nights & karaoke nights on a regular basis which can be great fun. There are several bars which show UK sports. All of these plus internet cafe, supermarket, chemist are within 8 min walk.

What can I say? The weather was great and your villa was beautiful. It was a
great break and everything was prefect - just depressing getting back to grey
cold normality!!
Your villa in Luz was the perfect setting to our holiday, whether knocking
balls around the tennis court or taking a refreshing dip in the pool - we even
fired up the BBQ although the storm overhead made it feel a tad refreshing.
I'd like to thank you for letting us stay at Vila Margarida and I hope you'll let us stay again in the future.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Portugal and would like to
thank you for lending us your beautiful villa for the last two weeks. The villa was
great, the gardens spectacular, the pool was wonderful and Filomena and Nicola looked after us perfectly. Perhaps you will let us have it again another year.
Vila Margarida
We have had just the BEST holiday and absolutely loved
your gorgeous villa. The directions you gave us were really easy to follow and
the standard of everything about the villa was exceptional! So much space
and we felt completely at home! We especially loved the outside kitchen area,
as we all enjoy cooking, so made good use of that area most evenings. Praia
da Luz had everything we could ask for. . The Baptista supermarket was fab
and sadly we only discovered the one that sold the fresh fish on our 2nd to
last day! However, the quality of the meat, fruit,veg etc was exceptional!
Filomena is delightfull and looked after us well.
We managed to explore the coast along to the west (gorgeous little villages
and beaches) and also went up to Monchique (beautiful!!) and across to
Aljezur and found a beautiful beach there. T
We hadnt been to the Algarve for probably 20 years (god where does the time
go) and was amazed how beautiful and unspoilt it still is! Definitely will be
going back - I will be keeping your details and wouldnt hesitate to
recommend to our friends.
