Villa Fonte Das Pedras is set in 4600 square meters of grounds amongst the countryside with olive, almond, fig, and carob trees bordered by dry stone walls. This villa consists of a master bedroom /family room which could sleep 2 adults + 2 – 4 children if required, with en-suite bathroom with twin basins, bath with shower over, bidet, W.C. Two twin bedrooms with a separate bathroom with basin, bath, W.C. and a large walk-in shower.
Quality German double glazed windows with fly screens are provided. Patio doors lead out to a shaded pergola for outside dining. Spend your days relaxing around the private swimming pool with sunbathing terracing and ample quality leisure furniture, sun loungers with sun shades, and views of the countryside. The surrounding gardens are grassed and landscaped with additional terracing, a BBQ area, and a double shady carport. Praia da Luz is only a 8 minute drive with its sheltered cove and sandy beach. Lagos with its cobbled streets and pavement cafes are a 15 minute drive away.
The villa is on one level and a gentle ramp pathway leads to the pool. This allows easy access to all areas and the pool. Supervision of disabled and young persons is advisable during pool use.
Outside, you will see private landscaped irrigated gardens and lawns. Plenty of chairs and tables are provided for al fresco dining, with lovely views of the country side and local wildlife.
The private pool includes a large sunbathing area for 10 persons. The pool is cleaned all day by solar energy. Again, nice views of the countryside can be seen here. A separate area for barbecue and dining is provided for you. Automatic garden lighting makes it more visually pleasing. Good size lawn areas and children's play area with swing are also included.
Our nearest beach is Praia da Luz which is only 8 minute drive with parking. Excellent restaurants, English supermarket, banks, and post office are all situated nearby. The western Algarve has many unspoiled beaches to explore. Many are empty. Fantastic surfing and water sports with pretty beach front bars and restaurants offering excellent value fresh fish.
Newly finished Espiche golf is 5 minutes walk away, Parque Du Floresta and Boa Vista golf courses are within 10 minutes drive. Faro airport is 50min drive on the excellent new motorway and car hire can be arranged for direct pick up from the airport.
The villa is superbly positioned for exploring the Algarve coast. Special local activities include golf, horse riding, fishing, scuba diving, dolphin safari trips, grotto boat trips, micro plane sightseeing flights, Zoo Marine, local zoo and aqua park. All of the above are fantastic trips and well recommended.
