A Mid Wales 4 Star self catering cottage with 3 roomy bedrooms, 2 double 1 twin - beds made up on arrival. (Cot available, but must supply own cot bedding). Towels and hairdryer provided.

Within with self catering accommodation is a fully equipped kitchen - hob, electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Dining area seats 6 comfortably (highchair available). Large lounge with amply seating for 9 with access to bay window for your pleasure to view the outstanding views of the Powys Welsh countryside. New Flat screen TV with free view, video and DVD player, books, videos, puzzles, games and an open fire place for those cold evenings.

Within this rural accommodation here in Mid Wales is a very spacious bathroom with separate shower unit, towel rail and vanity unit. Bath has handles for ease of use. A newly laid vinyl flooring.

Hallway with plenty of brochures for planning your days out and above around this self catering cottage here in Powys Mid Wales. Cupboard full of childrens books and games, and a closet with hoover and plenty of coat hanging spaces.

Large garage with separate toilet, has a deep freeze, tumble dryer, bike repair kit, first aid box, recycling facilities, ample coat hangers, plenty of space for bikes/motor bikes, dirty/wet coats/walking boots, etc. Why not travel the lanes of Wales by bike knowing you have security at the end of the day for your bike within this large garage.

A large garden, lawned area are fully available to guests, with plenty of car parking spaces. Views around this accommodation here in Powys Mid Wales will 'take your breath away' so perhaps just sit and enjoy this self catering cottage here in the garden total privacy, peace and quite.

Gwynfan offers a great place to relax and unwind and is a perfect base from which to explore central wales. There are lots of wonderful walks, peaceful lanes to cycle and many mountain biking tracks. Nature reserves (Elan Valley), pony trekking and fishing are on the doorstep and the area is a bird watchers paradise (Red Kites). The lovely country towns of Rhayader, Llanidloes, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Presteigne, Knighton and Hay-on-Wye all have very different characters and are all well worth a leisurely explore. A childrens indoor play centre just down the road. This self catering accommodation in Mid Wales has local village shows, sheepdog trails or trotting races to experience as well. (The Royal Welsh Show - the biggest agriculture show in the UK). A little further afield to the west is the coast of Aberysytwyth and the beautiful coastal nature reserve of Ynys-y-las. The Brecon Beacons are to the South and Snowdonia to the North - all are within a days trip away.

The owners are the only other neighbours for 1 mile, and there property can't be seen from this splendid property. This self catering accommodation is a very spacious single storey property and is set in total peace and quiet yet its only 3 miles from the nearest town here in Mid Wales (Llandrindod Wells), and only 1 mile from the local pub and the childrens play area - which is within easy walking distance. This property is mainly booked from a Friday from 4pm to a Friday 10am - other days and dates are available on request. NOTE: Our self catering cottage policy is to provide you with a high standard of accommodation during your stay. Our aim is to make sure that you holiday is a memorable one and that you may consider staying with us again in the future.
The bungalow is a non smoking environment - but you may smoke under the front door overhang.
Prices are as stated (please check with owner for short stay rates/deals) and will be agreed with a confirmation letter of booking after deposit have been received. However prices are subject to change without notice. Please check that you have been quoted the latest price. (Electricity and heating included in price - fire wood supplied, 1st FOC)
A deposit of £150.00 per week will be required for bookings made more than 6 weeks prior to arrival. The balance of the fee is payable in full 6 weeks prior to arrival date. For short notice bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival, full payment is required to confirm booking. FRIDAY CHANGE OVER (peak times)
Pets are allowed in the bungalow except in bedrooms. Pets are charged £25.00 per pet per week. (Short stay reduced rate). 2 well behaved dogs or 2 house trained cats (owners must supply own little trays, feed/water trays and remove any hair/dirt from bungalow and garden/lawns. Payment is due with full payment of rent or if booking is under 6 weeks then payment may be paid on arrival.
We also offer short breaks (hire charge shown in £ sterling) based on 3 nights break (Friday to Monday) or 4 nights mid week break (Monday to Friday). This accommodation in wales offers out of season, short breaks which can be taken any time, please check with owners for prices, days, etc.
