Very comfortable south facing cottage with glorious views - Originally part of the Village School: The cottage is in the small quiet hamlet of Trallong with easy access to the A40 the Brecon to Llandovery Road. It lies on the south facing side of the Usk Valley looking toward Pen-y-Fan and is 4 miles from Brecon, with the nearest shops. The rare red kite have been seen soaring overhead from the cottage and there is a wealth of other wildlife in this peaceful area; the lane to Trallong passes over the old hump-backed Usk River Bridge where the river is wide and slow with cattle and sheep grazing at the waters edge.
Sleeps 4 plus cot, 2 bedrooms. Well equipped galley style kitchen with a ceramic hob cooker, a microwave, fridge, freezer, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Sitting/dining-room with comfortable sofa and chairs, dining table and chairs, electric coal effect stove, Freesat TV offering multi channels and DVD. There are patio doors leading out onto the pretty little patio garden area, with garden furniture and the most wonderful views of the Brecon Beacons.
Up the first flight of stairs is a lovely bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with handbasin, bath and toilet. Up a few stairs is a second bedroom with twin beds; from all the rooms there are the most lovely views over to the Brecon Beacons.
