"We have just returned from our stay at villa bonita there were 8 of us and a baby staying there and the villa was large enough so that we were not on top of each other. There were two small complaints that I had one is that it was advertised with a roof terrace but when we got there it was locked and the owner had the key so we were not able to use it, which was a bit disappointing as it would of been nice to of escaped there from everybody now and again. Two the swimming pool did turn green but as soon as we called up there was somebody there within 30 mins to sort it out . Other than that we had a wonderful time the villa was very clean and well looked after and had plenty of crockery etc. I would certainly rebook or recommend it to our friends all in all very good value for money"
Value: Excellent , Met expectations: Yes - satisfied , Recommend: Definitely , Overall: Excellent
My wife, four children and a set of grandparents took this house at the end of April. We were really happy with our choice of villa. There was plenty of room for our large party, it was very comfortable and well fitted out with everything that we could have wanted. The pool and beautiful gardens (with lovely night lighting) were a real plus and our boys really enjoyed the space and facilities thoroughly. Lynda the manager was also very helpful and friendly. If there was anything that could be improved it would be the facility for heating the pool - at the time of the year we travelled (late April - early May) a heated pool would add that little touch of additional luxury which we would gladly have paid for if ia pool heating facility was available"
Value: Excellent , Met expectations: Exceeded them , Recommend: Definitely , Overall: Excellent
I stayed 8 nights in this beautiful villa at the end of August. The 4 bedrooms were extremely comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were clean and have been fitted with really good showers, just what you need at the end of a hot day.
Loved the open-plan style of the living area and thought the bar was a great touch on the owner's part. Thought the house had a nice authentic Portuguese feel to it, while still being comfortable.
The gardens are fabulous, with plenty of trees for shade but loads of room to spread out and get some sun as well. The pool is a good size and we had a lot of fun with the slide and diving board! The area is very peaceful so the garden feels like a real haven to relax in.
In terms of the location, the house is in a quiet area but we were only 5 minutes from the main hub of the marina by car. I'd recommend a car to anyone coming to Vilamoura for ease of getting up and down to the beaches but also for exploring the coastline of the Algarve which is really beautiful. In the evenings we ate down at the marina few times and a taxi home was only 8 euro (much cheaper than Dublin!).
Overall we had a really excellent stay in this property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a self-catering holiday in Vilamoura. Will definitely be coming back.
August 2009
I spent 7 days here in August with friends and had a wonderful time. The house was absolutely fabulous. It was beautifully decorated and very close to the marina where there were lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
The house and pool were extremely well maintained and very clean. The house was equipped to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need. The garden is secluded with lots of places to relax, either by the pool or in the shade on one of the many chairs placed around the garden.
This was my first trip to portugal and it was fabulous, the house was amazing and I would definately stay here again. The owners were extremely helfpful and friendly and I would definately reccommend this property to friends and family.
August 2009
I enjoyed my stay in this house very much. The property, pool and surrounding area was clean tidy and well kept. The house itself is beautiful, spacious homely and comfortable with a house alarm and shutters for extra security which kept my mind at ease while we were out during the day. It had all facilities such as: washing machine, hairdryer, iron and towels which made it all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to a friend, relative or family. Renting a car is cheap which we found useful to get around, however taxis are also cheap which is an advantage. Only a 5 minute drive away from the beautiful marina and beach the location of the property is ideal as it is still in a private area while close to the main town. Restaurants and pubs are plentiful along the marina which serve a wide variety of delicious foods at varying prices. There are numerous pubs and karoke bars for those who like post meal entertainment or a quiet drink. There are also fanatasic excursions at reasonable prcies at the marina such as: dolphin safari, paragliding and boat trips around the marina which are fantastic fun. I had an excellent, memorable holiday and would definitely go back to the same property and location again.

Beautiful Villa in Vilamoura

'We have stayed with the owners of Secret Key Cove in their American Villa and their apartment in Vilamoura, so when we heard of their new villa being available in Vilamoura we decided to try it.
We took 12 days in August and really loved it.
The quality of the villa was what we have come to expect from the people, a beautifully presented home. The style of villa is traditional and the decor is fresh and relaxing. Comfortable beds.
We were really impressed by the superb gardens and super pool.
A great location, the villa is close enough to the bright lights without having to suffer the noise, a drive to the Falesia beach or the marina by car is about 5 minutes. There are several local eateries that we used occasionally and great choices on the marina but we mostly ate alfresco making full use of the built in bbq.
The cab fare home was between 6 and 8 after a night on the marina.
Recommending this to all our friends, We will be back.
Thanks for a great holiday.

my husband, son and daughter in law and 10month old twins stayed in this beautiful villa in september 2009 the villa had everything we needed and even provided 2 cots and 2 high chairs, the grounds were lovely and the babies enjoyed being outside we didnt use the pool as it wasnt warm enough for the babies, we were able to walk the babies locally in their pushchairs but didnt attempt to walk them to the marina, hired a car for a few days think it is a necessity to be able to get around, we ate at browns a few times but most eating was at the villa which was pleasant to eat inside or outside as the weather was as perfect as the villa

Date of Stay: October 2009I received an offer for a late booking for a house in Vilamoura. The house is Villa Bonita and I was very glad I took the offer, it was exactly what I needed. Great garden, great pool, great weather, kick back and relax!
The house is very well decorated and comfortable and had every thing we needed.Everything works. The idea of the open bar is a good one and was very well received. We ate mostly at the Marina restaurants, because we were only there for a week it was more practical to eat out although the house has all the facilities for self catering. We did however buy coffee grounds and make fresh americanos to start our day, with the excellent little coffee machine in the kitchen.
I am looking forward to returning again in November with some golfing friends.
Well done!
